As always with MCarbo excellent service and product. Take down pin looks like it will outlast my elsie. Easy to install but the pin was not as described in the video..looks almost the same as oem.

I read about this replacement part for the LCP II and thought it would be a good and inexpensive upgrade. When I received the product (nicely packaged), I decided to install immediately. One pry with a small screwdriver, remove original, push in by hand. DONE! No other tools needed. I look forward to replacing some of the other factory parts in the future.
While it seems like such a small item it really does make things a lot easier. with a locking position it goes in easy, locks just as easy and makes removal less difficult.
Just put this in my LCP2 (22LR) last week. Make it so much easier to take apart. You don't need a tool anymore. You can use your finger tip.
I've been slowly upgrading every aspect of this little pistol and this takedown pin was the last of my upgrades. Great fit, east to use, looks great. No complaints.

Much better than the OEM pin. Just from looks alone you can tell this one is beefier than what the manufacturer installs and should last much longer. I was a little disappointed that you don't have the one featured in your videos, it seems, that you can turn to make removal easier but I am guessing the reason for that is to make sure it is always retained with as little possibility of walking out as possible. The only problem I have now is that when pulling this pin it bends out the polymer side a lot and worried some day I could damage the gun itself when doing a field strip for cleaning. I have now installed every mod you offer for the LCP and man does it make a difference! I now have a "fully" upgraded LCP which is rapidly becoming my primary carry. Love you have the video that just walks you thru the entire process. Just kept it up on the screen and followed along which made this easy to do. Keep up the great work!
