Great Video. Very well done. I followed the video and achieved a great trigger. Smoooooooth as glass! I do not have a trigger gauge, but you don't need one to feel a huge difference!!!

Great job Chris. All the little tips and tricks really make this an easy upgrade.

2 kits same result. Not impressed.

Brand new out of the box 10/22. Started w a 6# trigger measured w a trigger scale. Brought it down to 5#. Called and the guy told me to run a couple hundred rounds to let the springs break in. Did that, No change. Got another set of springs. Took 4 days from ph call to actually ship and another 3 days to get to my house. Changed springs and again 5#. Yes they are lighter springs but not worth the time or effort IMO. Save your time and spend a few more bucks to buy proven parts...

While it is difficult to say exactly how much the trigger spring kit did independent of Polishing as I did both at the same time on two different 10/22 triggers, the net result was a smooth pull at about 4 pounds +/-3oz on a digital trigger scale. That is about a 1 pound drop from stock. I did end up installing a Ruger BX trigger in both firearms with a result of 2 pounds +/-2 oz in both guns.

Product works great! Went from stock springs with an outrageous pull to these. I could tell the difference. I didn’t measure the lbs either time but seriously, there’s a big difference.

5.25 lb to 5.5 lb???

Maybe I missed something. Watched the installation video probably a dozen times before I ever started the install myself and then watched it while doing the install... the trigger pull weight went up instead of down... went from 5.25 lbs to 5.5 lbs. I'm going to switch it back to factory parts and see what happens.

Also the small rod that is included in the kit to hold the trigger together when pulling it out and putting it back in was a little on the small side and just falls out. Found a section from a plastic sword toothpick fits perfect and did a great job to hold it together.

Above average performance at 10% the cost!

Reviewed several sites for trigger kit for Ruger Charger 10/22. Anywhere from $75-$300 dollars. For $15 dollars Got 20 shots in 1 inch group at 25yds! More than worth the price. The "how to" video for polishing, install and cleaning one of the best I've seen. Made process Artillery easy.... Would and have recommended this upgrade to all my friends and is a great way to really get to know your 10/22 from the inside out. Thanks

Awesome

I have bought trigger spring kits here for my 2 870's, Rem 597 and now the Ruger 10-22. Trigger is better on all of them now.

Binary Trigger Install

Got a Franklin Armory binary for 10/22 and that spring just would not cooperate. Tried snipping a few rungs after watching vids and beating my head against the table. Found out about M-Carbo on a forum and it worked instantly. It's well worth the price for the ease of install and keeping BP down when dealing with tiny components.

Could not be happier!

Although I've used guns all of my long life, I've never worked on them beyond cleaning one.

I bought this kit because 1. I hated the trigger on my 10/22 2. The kit is a fraction of the price of even the cheapest "target" trigger.

Then I bought the basic tools Mcarbo recommended, and dove into the project.

The kit was a blast, and (thanks to Mcarbos great instructional video) fun and easy to install And even though I didn't know a trigger sear from a gopher snake before I started the project, after I finished the job I'd learned how my 10/22 trigger works, and the trigger is much, much better. Thanks Mcarbo!

Crisp & "Buttery Smooth" trigger now.

Straight forward installation and a great addition to improve overall accuracy of any Ruger 10/22. I believe the pull weight is a little under 2 pounds now but I tricked it out a little further. Installed in an early 80's model, stainless.

Decent Field Trigger

These are well made springs with closed ends. The slave pin/dowel rod was way too undersized and non-functional for its purpose but that is easily made with wooden toothpicks so no big deal. Installation went smoothly (pro gunsmith shop here) and resulted in 3# 11oz trigger. Went further and reduced sear engagement by about 30% and got sub-3# trigger.

Definitely made a great Improvement.

I purchased my Ruger 10/22 and 1983. It brought new life into a Old Reliable friend.

I have used several other MCARBO spring kits with great results. This one however left me disappointed. after polishing and add the MCARBO spring kit trigger pull went from 5 to 4.5 pound pull. NOT the HALF reduction promised in the description.

Disappointed.

Watched and followed the installation & polishing video. Was a 6 lb trigger and is now a crip 5.5 lb trigger. Trigger has a clean break now but, I contritribute that to the polishing, not the springs. Disappointed.
