Doesn't do as advertised
I measured my OEM trigger weight many many times before installing the Mcarbo springs. Unfortunately the Mcarbo springs didn't change the weight AT ALL! I'm a somewhat experienced gunsmith and know to always measure my trigger pulls exactly the same every time to avoid different readings. I can confirm, these Mcarbo springs not only do nothing, they certainly don't reduce the trigger pull to 2.75lbs.
These are averages of 5 pulls each using a Wheeler Pro Trigger Guage:
4lb 7oz - OEM trigger
4lb 6oz - Mcarbo springs
I don't recommend purchasing these springs unless you've measured your own trigger and found it to be above 6lbs. Then, these springs would likely drop you down to 4.5lbs.
Oh and the little "installation tool" in the kit is supposed to be a dowel to hold some small parts together. But it's too skinny and ends up complicating everything. You'll want to use a tooth pick instead. Just shove the toothpick through the hole and snap it off on both ends.
Worth it's weight in gold
Easy to install. Video was a great help. Dropped a never fired standard ruger trigger from 4lbs 8oz avg to 1lb15oz avg. Also did the polishing added an adjustable travel trigger. 1000% improvement.
Noticeable Difference
I did this myself in less than an hour. It made a noticeable difference when comparing to a stock 10/22. The video makes it very easy. Highly recommend going this route before buying an expensive BX or Timiney trigger.

Little to no difference
After following the YouTube video and polishing the recommended parts with their kit I noticed very little to no difference in my Ruger 10-22 with the spring kit. When comparing my 10-22 to a family members, who's is stock from Ruger, there is very little difference. Definitely not a reduced trigger pull of approximately 1/2 of stock pull as advertised. Would be nice to have a tool to measure the lbs but I do not have one.
It is possible I did something wrong, but the process seemed simple enough. Overall I'd go another route.
No Customer Support
I know this kit didn't cost much, but I had some problems installing it and could not get any customer support to help me out. It's been about a month now and after many phone calls reaching no one and sending in several emails asking for help, I got nothing. So there my kit sits, not working and I'm forced to move on to another kit. But this experience was not all lost because now I know never to buy anything from this company again. They don't support what they sell.
Disappointed.
Watched and followed the installation & polishing video. Was a 6 lb trigger and is now a crip 5.5 lb trigger. Trigger has a clean break now but, I contritribute that to the polishing, not the springs. Disappointed.

Great cheap upgrade for the 10/22 Ruger. Installation video and kit is great as always.
Why don't you just offer an exchange or cheaper mechanism for trigger pull? Mine witch l just bought is unacceptable at 6 lbs, now what. You can get rid of that horrible bolt lock. I am disappointed with my purchase. Brand knew rifle and not a big fan,recall them and replace l like 2 and half pull
We don't manufacture the Ruger 10/22 we make a spring kit to help with the trigger pull. You would need to pose this question to Ruger.

Will this kit work on the ruger pc carbine?

Not at all, this is a completely different weapon platform and we do not carry springs for the PC Carbine as of now.
Will this trigger work on the SR22 rifle?
We have yet to test it in that model. I can not say if it will or not.
Will this 10/22 kit also work with their BX trigger?
If so, what is the expected result in pull weight?
It will work on the BX trigger and pull it will be about the same just -/+ 1lb
