very easy to change spring.when from 3.15 to 2.5
I recently purchased this spring. It was well worth the purchase. Shipping was fast and installation was a breeze. I would estimate that it took me 10 minutes from start to finish to install this part which made a considerable difference in the sensitivity of my rifles trigger. Great product, Great company!
Installed spring and did a little polishing. Trigger pull was reduced from 4lbs-6ozs to 2lbs-4ozs.
The service, processing and shipping were all fast and efficient. The video MCARBO has out on this install was about 24 minutes long, but very well done, I had the spring installed in about 20 minutes start to finish and it works as advertised and brought the trigger break down to about 1.5 lbs. I would recommend if you have a TC Venture and you want to improve it without breaking the checkbook. If you're not familiar with firearm disassembly, consider consulting a gunsmith.
Spring arrived on time. Did exactly as stated. Took my trigger pull on a brand new TC Venture 25-06 from a 3.5lb trigger to a 1.5lb trigger pull. Easy to install and plenty of YouTube instructional videos on the subject.
Watch the video and it will be easy to install. Put one on my venture and one on my brothers. He was getting buck fever too much and having accuracy problems. Now he can center pinch one with no problems. Thanks MCARBO! I was getting tired of tracking his deer.
Great product, installation very easy to do after watching video. trigger pull wt. as from factory 5.1 lb., after installing mcarbo spring pull wt went to 2.1 lb. wow 58 % reduction. can't wait to bench rest test this little jewl. Thanks again for quick shipping & fine product.
I want to thank MCARBO for this amazing spring I went from 3.77 lbs of trigger pull to 1.5 lbs holy moly my shot group is tighten up. My 30-06 is my go-to hunting rifle and its coming together. I have added a Boyd’s stock also and it’s rounded out . For those looking to better there shot group and increase accuracy buy the trigger spring on this website MCARBO. Thanks again
I purchased two springs kits. One for a 204 Venture and one for a 223 Venture. Both springs worked great. Really recommend these springs kits to improve trigger performance on Venture rifles. Very happy with the results. Shipping was quick. I will be using M.Carbo again.
I sent the rifle to Mcarbo for the install,Pat at Mcarbo did the work for me.Turnaround was six days ,that in itself is real service. Pat spoke to me prior to shipping rifle back and explained the results over the phone.I got the rifle back and the trigger is as good as anyone in the country could do,breaks like the proverbial glass rod at a consistent 1.8 lbs,no take up ,no creep.I couldn't be happier,drop tested at four feet plenty safe.The rifle in 204 is my coyote long range rifle here in Ohio,it's a tack driver with half in moa at 100 yds all day,i believe now with this trigger 3/8 is possible. Highly recommend their products and services.Another rifle will be heading their way shortly.
I received the spring in just a couple days and followed instructions outlined on the video. The installation went very smoothly and the results were gratifying with a 1.5 lb reduction in trigger pull. This was my first purchase from M*CARBO and I am well pleased.
All I can say is wow I started with a trigger pull between 3lb 9oz and 3lb 12oz on my new Thomson Center Venture .223 After the Venture trigger spring upgrade I dropped to an average of 2lb 3 1/2oz Looking forward to getting out to shooting range
Ok, I’m a guy and don’t always real the instructions. Since I had not worked on a venture trigger before I printed out the instruction sheet and watched the video several times. Once I got started I couldn’t believe how simple it was. Very easy to upgrade if you just take your time! I started out with a factory pull of about 4.5 pounds and after the installation, it went to just a hair over 3 pounds… just what I was looking for.
Went from 3.5 lbs to 2.0 lbs after some tinkering. I had previously adjusted the screws for creep and over travel so adjustments had to be made to get the new spring to work. I recommend to those installing this spring to not mess with the adjustment screws unless necessary as it can create an issue where the gun fires on bolt closing periodically.
WOW, fast service and delivery. Didn't take long and WOW, trigger is sweet. Also remember folks, there is a screw on top, remove bolt to access, of the trigger assembly that you can still adjust the weight on the spring. If you feel it didn't make much difference, try adjusting that screw some. See owners manual for adjustment. Awesome job guys, and thank you for your service, near and far!! Chuckster.
