The parts arrived in good condition. It was trigger spring kit for a Ruger SP101 and I have installed the new springs as well as polishing some of the easier to reach parts. I didn't install shims or completely disassemble the trigger due to a lack of confidence in my gunsmithing prowess, which is minimal. However the work that I did do made a dramatic improvement in the action of the revolver by substantially reducing trigger & hammer pull weight about 40% and improving smoothness as well. I fired 45 cci 500 primed cases without a misfire or failure of the trigger to return so all seems to be well. My wife is much happier with it now.
Started with an 11 lb D/A and a 5.5” lb. S/A pull. End with 5 lb D/A & 3 lb S/A. What a difference! Used the trigger shims but not the hammer shims. Ruger modified the hammer and it comes with shims. The polishing took a while but well worth the extra work. Highly recommend.
My new SP101 came new out of the box with a DA trigger pull just shy of 11 1bs! A hundred rounds later and several hundred dry fires smoothed the trigger a bit and dropped the DA trigger to a still unacceptable 10.24 lbs using a Lyman digital gauge. Your spring kit along with the polishing kit did the trick. I now have a beautifully smooth trigger with a 4-1/2 lb DA pull and a nice crisp 2.1 lb SA trigger. Great job with the video as well as it made the upgrade process completely painless. I ordered the kit on 3/31, it shipped on 4/1 and arrived on 4/4. Excellent customer service and I will look to you for more products in the future.
Seeing the video gave me the confidence to move forward and the result was very satisfying. Take your time follow the video and you too will be very pleased with the way your revolver now functions.

I put this kit in a SP101and it brought the trigger pull down from a 13.5lbs trigger pull to 7lbs. Not to bad, I'll get it lower with a little more polishing. Definitely recommend it.
As advertised, much better pull from the horrendous stock configuration. I haven't measured it but it really does feel like a 5-6 pound pull now and overall much smoother.

Let me say first of all that this is a great product. It renders a great trigger pull. With the added polishing it really improves it. And let me also say that I have never and I mean never dealt with a company with faster shipping and better communication. Enjoyable tinkering kit. Installed in 2 different .357 SP101's, the regular and the bobbed hammer versions. I HIGHLY recommend Kevin Wilson's "The Ruger SP101 Trigger Job Guide". I made a hard-copy and used this to guide me through the installation of both kits. A bit of a challenge courtesy of the springs being under pressure, but the results were worth it. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but I can dry-fire either revolver a lot more at any one time before my hands cramp up. Sorry I can't offer hard numbers, but suffice to say both revolvers are a lot smoother an easier to use. This is an actual noticeable difference. Thanks very much, M*CARBO!!!!

I bought a used SP101 in 327 Federal Magnum and was immediately disappointed with the trigger pull. MCarbo to the rescue, their trigger kit was just what I needed.
