M*Carbo service wasn't bad either. They have more good stuff - will be doing business with them soon. More power to you Chris

Just completed the trigger spring mod using the very easy and comprehensive guides with great results! Got just about a 7 pound DA pull which is great for wife self defense. Made one little change to your procedure - instead of using 1000 grit after the 1/4 inch drill bit debur, I reduced the size of one of the dremel polishing bits (took about 30 seconds) until it fit the trigger return spring channel and polished it that way.

I bought this kit to install on a friend’s gun because she could not pull the stock trigger. I followed the video step by step and polished all the parts. I couldn’t get the gun to fire after installation of the new springs or after reinstalling the old springs. By accident I found out that even after seating the hammer as shown in the video you needed to pull the trigger and then pull the hammer back by hand at the same time. The kit reduced the trigger from 12lbs to 7lbs 10oz. She loves the reduction and can pull the trigger now.

I purchased a customized SP-101 recently. Inspection showed a nice hard-chrome application and night-sight installation. The trigger was awful, as I expected after reading various reviews. This is an early model, so I bought the MCARBO kit for it, and hoped for the best. The U-Tube video on installation was excellent but for one miss-the part where you re-install the cylinder is missing. If you install the trigger assembly first, the cylinder won't go in. Other than that, great video and excellent schematic. Note that a couple of items for the SP-101 are MIA on the web site.

After tearing down the trigger group, I found several bent springs and messed up detents, so I ordered replacement parts from Numrich Arms. After receiving the parts, I followed the MCARBO installation video. I now have a smooth cycling SP-101 that has a nice 3.75# Single Action trigger pull, and a very smooth 8# Double Action pull. These are less than half of the original, and the feel is tremendous.

I recommend MCARBO trigger kits and especially their installation videos, for those like me who are 1911 folks who haven't ever torn apart a revolver. I suggest watching the video twice, end-to-end, prior to working on your Ruger. My install was smooth sailing once I noticed the missing cylinder installation step.

My mother in law’s arthritis made pulling the trigger on her .357 almost impossible. Swapped out the springs and now she has no problem at all. Brought tears to her eyes and made her feel much safer and comfortable with her firearm. I am extremely pleased with this product.

I hated my Ruger SP101. It was so hard to pull the trigger consistently. My FFL friend told me there was nothing wrong with the gun. My husband ordered this spring kit for me. I installed the springs using your video as a guide. (It wasn't easy, but I got it.) The revolver now fires beautifully. I love it and I am especially pleased that I was able to fix it myself with your spring kit. (70 yr old female)

Ordered this kit for a new Ruger SP101. Received my order including the polishing kit quickly. DA pull was well over the 12 lb maximum on my Lyman gauge. Watched the video twice and had no trouble disassembling the gun while referring back to the video occasionally on my phone. Polished everything and ended up shimming the hammer .005 on each side. The hammer was ok. The DA pull ended up at a smooth 9.5 lbs and the SA is equally crisp at 3.5 lbs. I realize that this is not as low as the video but it was a very significant improvement to my gun. The video, shipping and customer service have been awesome and are highly recommended. I will be ordering more kits for some of my other guns. Thanks!!

Reduced DA pull on my GP100 from 12 to 7+, SA pull from 7 to 3. Very thorough video and printable instructions which include polishing, general tune-up procedures, very good information.

The trigger and hammer spring kit transformed my Ruger SP 101 to a silky smooth revolver. All the parts were precision and the instructional video was excellent. I had never taken a pistol apart but after following the step-by-step video I now feel like a professional gunsmith. It was actually very fun and satisfying to polish all the internal parts of the gun. The result was an improved pistol and more confident gun owner. Thanks M*CARBO

parts fit perfectly, video was excellent how-to (I didn't polish everything though, only the contact points), my SP101 now has a very smooth, much lighter trigger pull. Well worth the $$ and time. My spouse (with notoriously weak hands and carpal tunnel) even liked the results.

Amazing how much better the trigger pull is with my Ruger GP100 22LR after doing a trigger job with the M*CARBO kit. I followed the detail on the web page on how to do it, including adding the shims.

With this kit, a cheap rotary tool plus felt bits, some Flitz polish and the instruction video on MCarbo’s YouTube page, I was able to vastly improve my new GP100’s gritty, tough trigger in a little more than two hours. My thumb slipped off the hammer when I pulled it back after the work was done because I was expecting much more resistance. Would highly recommend to anyone with a new Ruger. Made my revolver go from a gun I’d rather not shoot much to one I’ll always bring with me to the range.
