This kit reduced my trigger pull from just over 3 lbs to just over 2 lbs, just what I was looking for.
A tiny little spring that provides a maximum of effect to the trigger. No need to buy an expensive exchange trigger to get a smooth, crisp and absolutly perfect trigger pull. Ideal for my RUGER AMERICAN used for hunting.

I tried a few different ways to lighten up my trigger pull on my RAP 6mm. I nearly gave up and was going to purchase an after market trigger when I found MCarbo's solution. All reviews were positive so I gave it a try and I am very pleased with the results. Installation was as easy as advertised as long as you have a small amount of mechanical aptitude. Trigger feels great and I am now on the hunt for other products to aid in my Mossberg, and Savage rifles. Thank you MCarbo.

In my opinion this is the best upgrade for Ruger's American series of rifles. Simple straight forward installation and high value, as in the amount of improvement compared to money spent. The trigger feel was greatly improved.

Saw this on a YouTube video looking for a fix for the ruger american Gen 2. Took about 15 min and trigger pull is 2.4 lbs took the creep out too! Do this quick fix before you spend 180 for a timney
After 10 pulls the factory spring average was 3lbs. 14oz. . 10 pulls on the MCarbo spring was 2lbs. 2oz. . Way happy!

Good install video, improved trigger pull significantly.
Have a cheap trigger pull gauge. This was for a Ruger American Rimfire, same as the standard Ruger american. Factory was at just a hare below 3.5lb when adjusted down. Installed the new spring as instructed in the video, just a hare below 2.5 for a total pull reduction of 1lb. Also got to clean the trigger sear engagement which was rather dirty. Trigger feels great. Over all I would highly recommend this spring.
Bought this spring for a Ruger American Rimfire .22LR. I had already watched the video which shows a Ruger American Rifle but the rimfire is almost identical. I was able to remove the Ruger spring and install the MCARBO spring in just a few minutes. I checked the trigger pull prior to installation with a Lyman digital gage. Was 2# 14oz. Pretty good. After installation The pull weight was reduced a full pound! 1# 13.8oz! Well worth it! Thanks MCARBO!!!
Installed into my Ruger American Predator. The OEM spring was so stiff I could not get the trigger pull to less than 3 7/8 lbs with the adjusting screw all the way out. The new MCARBO spring installed easily and my trigger pull now is a consistent 3 lbs. with the adjusting screw in so far that only one thread is barely showing. I did not try lighter settings as 3 lbs works for me.
