The factory spring on my Ruger Amercian was not up to Ruger's stated standard. The very best adjustment that I could get on the stock trigger spring was 4lbs. The MCarbo spring was easy to install in minutes and I was able to adjust down to 2.75 lbs. I could have brought it even lower, but that was the trigger weight I felt comfortable with. Worth buying, for sure.

Easy to install. Reduced the pull weight from 2.75 lbs to 1.4 lbs. I prefer a pull weight around 1.25 lbs, so this was good for me.
I did this upgrade to two rifles, a Ruger American .17HMR, factory pull was between 2.9-3.6#. After installing the spring, the trigger pull was a consistent 2.6# with a very crisp break. The second rifle was a Ruger American .223 bolt gun. Factory pull was right around 3.5#. After the spring install it was a consistent 2.5#, the trigger now has a crisp pull, with no discernible creep. I’m very happy with the results and the short video regarding the installation was spot on, both rifles only took about 20 minutes to complete.
Fast shipping and item was just as described. If you follow the video it will take you less than 10 minutes to install. I tested my trigger before installation and 3.4 pounds was the lowest I could get. I installed the spring and tested again and my trigger pull was at 2.3 pounds. Which is perfect for me. I will be purchasing another one for my other Ruger American.
This spring kit is amazing. It was super easy to install and only took a couple minutes. The factory American trigger is adjustable but at the lowest point was still around 4 lbs on my rifle. With the MCarbo kit I was able to adjust it down to a nice 1.5 lbs. this also helped reduce a lot of the gritty feel that the trigger had. Now it has a smooth pull and crisp break. It transformed my so-so factory trigger in to a great trigger. Super happy. I would absolutely recommend and will buy more.

These are amazing. If you want a safe light trigger that will tighten your groups. Then get one of these. The Ruger American line is an extremely accurate firearm line. This will lighten your trigger to approximately 2-2.5. Easy to install.
Worked, but only at 2.5 lb. I was expecting 2lb from add.
MCARBO Trigger Spring Kit Worked great in my RAR 300BO. Made trigger much smother and got pull down to where I wanted it at just over 2 lbs will go lower or higher but is where I like it. Item was shipped next day after ordering.
