This spring kit made a vast improvement over the factory trigger. Smooth and 50% lighter pull. AWSOME!! The video helped a lot, nice for self help quality check.

Perfect replacement for the trigger spring my son's Ruger American Rifle Target .22Lr!! Expedient delivery even for standard delivery! Quickly and easily installed the spring 4 days after I ordered the kit. The very next day my son's shooting coach tested the pull tension at the range and it recorded a pull weight of 3 lbs. The factory spring tension setting was at 5.25 lbs. With the adjustment screw backed out as far as it would go the pull weight didn't go below 4.18lbs. At 3lbs, this spring kit from MCARBO is .5lbs above the minimum requirement by the state for the Junior Hunter's Safety team at my son's middle school! Great job MCARBO!!! Looking forward to doing more business in the future.

My Ruger American standard trigger was not what I needed because it a 4lb trigger- after adjustment. I got this spring from m carbo that changed the whole feel of the trigger - from 4lbs to 2lbs 4oz. I really appreciated the short video that shows how easy it was to install.

I purchased a Ruger American in .270 this summer and immediately noticed it could benefit from a few upgrades. The first on my list was a trigger spring and since I had excellent results with the MCarbo spring in my Marlin 917V I knew I would go with them again. I was not disappointed and the install was easy. As soon as I installed the spring I took it to the range and noticed a difference in the trigger break point and my ability to hold a tighter group. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to improve their Ruger American.
I purchased 3 of these springs for my Ruger American rifles. I installed 2 in .22 caliber rifles & 1 in my .308. I adjusted the .22's at 1.9 & 2.2 lbs. I adjusted the .308 at 2.8 lb. I also installed shims per instructions from TriggerShims.com. This all made a PERFECT trigger & still adjustable. Very good videos from MCARBO & TriggerShims.com for simple & easy & quick home trigger job. And yes, It passes the drop test!

building a long range 6.5 creedmoor .I wanted to improve the trigger, but didn't want to give up the safety of the factory trigger. Ibought this spring upgrade with little hope that it would get the results I wanted. Was I ever wrong. Pull dropped from 3.4 lbs to 1.78 . This might be the best change to my gun .
