Installed M*Carbo Spring Kit on a Ruger American Ranch in 450-BM . Took a 3.5 lb trigger pull to 2.5 lb . Could have adjusted lower , but 2.5 lb is exactly what I wanted . Good service , product , price , & lastly installation video . Video made installation a breeze . Bought M*Carbo Spring Kit for a 2006 model year M-70 Winchester in 243 WSSM at the same time . Haven't installed the spring in the M-70 yet as it's in use as my main varmint gun this time of year . I'm confident after installing & using the Ruger with the M*Carbo Spring that the M-70 trigger pull will benefit too .
Installed on a Ruger American Rimfire. I have Timney triggers on 3 Ruger American centerfires. I stumbled across this option for $12, Timney is $117. What the heck... Watched the video (good job guys) and made an easy install. Factory trigger was > 3 lb., less than 2 lb. after installed spring. I adjusted to an even 2 lb. (personal preference). Very pleased with trigger, and installation was quick & easy.
Trigger puller is smoother. Video on installation the best!!
Easy install even for my amateur self
Compared to factory this spring upgrade makes a huge difference. Went and shot today and it's the lightest most crisp trigger I have in any gun now. 100% Recommend
I bought two of these springs, one for a 308 and one for a 223 both in ruger predator. They are simple to install and make a big difference over the factory spring
I bought this spring to lower the trigger pull weight of a new Ruger American Predator rifle I bought; in .223 Remington. The factory adjustment screw, based on the recommended adjustment range with the factory spring, never lessened the pull weight at all; which was right at 4.5 pounds. Even removing the spring altogether only reduced the pull weight to 2.5 pounds. So, thinking this spring would at least let the weight be there, 2.5 pounds, I installed it, again using the recommended set screw seating depth. With the new spring in and set screw "properly" adjusted, the trigger pull weight was still at just under 4 pounds. So, in the end I ended up trimming a coil and a half off this spring and installing it so that it just made the trigger return to the "reset" position reliably. Basically, this added little or no tension to the trigger. It just keeps it from being sloppy when the firing pin is at rest. With the "altered" new spring installed, the trigger pull weight is now at 2.5 pounds, as I had originally desired. Still thinking about replacing the whole trigger assembly in favor of a Timney or Triggertech model that will allow me to get down to 1 pound or less. However, all-in-all, the spring did what it was advertised to do; lowered the trigger pressure below factory spring specs.
First off I gotta say the shipping was super super fast as described i went from 4.5 pound pull on my american gen 2 to just little over 2.6 pound definitely would recommend this company
take less than 5 min to install and works great
Easy to Install. Fast ship. Cheap price. Works great .ade a difference in my trigger pull great springs as always I bought 2.
I used the spring to improve my trigger pull from 2lbs 8oz down to 1lb 12oz. Great improvement for such a small price. This is the third rifle I’ve improved with M*Carbo products. Doesn’t get better than that!!!
Could not get my stock trigger any lower than 3.5 lbs on my Ruger American Predator 6.5 Creedmoor. Got this spring, followed the easy instructions and upon installation tested the trigger and it's now a smooth and crisp 2.5 lbs. Great inexpensive upgrade.
Put my trigger pull right where I want it. I don't have a trigger pull gauge but it's pretty close to my Kidd 2lb. trigger I have on my 10/22. Shipping was extremely fast. Thank You M Carbo
This spring kit is an outstanding improvement to the American trigger. Installs in 10 minutes or less, and give the trigger a clean break on my rifle at just under 2lbs. The product is made in the USA. Spend it where you make it guys...
This trigger spring is a great improvement over the "adjustable" trigger that Ruger puts in these rifles. I could only get mine down to 3 1/2 lbs until I installed the MCARBO spring. The trigger now breaks at 2 1/2 lbs with no creep. I will be buying more for other guns.
This is the second one I've purchased for a Ruger American. This one went into a 450 Bushmaster and brought the pull weight down to 2.25 lbs. Can't wait to get it on the bench to see what kind of groups I can get with my handloads.
