As always, their kit was a great fix at a small price. This is the third spring kit I have purchased and have no complaints.
I ordered this kit in hopes of achieving a trigger pull that didn’t require hooking up to my Duramax just to make a shot. Just kidding, but with the factory trigger adjusted as far as I could adjust it the pull was still at 5lb 13oz. I watched the video on the website and followed along. The steps were much easier than I thought they would be. Thanks for the video. In about 20 minutes I had them changed out and used the hunting spring that came in the package. This gave me a pull weight of 3lb 10oz. I removed this spring and put the bench rest spring in just to test it out. I am very happy with my new trigger pull of right at 3lbs. Thanks for the awesome kit and great customer service.
MCARBO; I'm so glad I found you; This spring kit is the very best thing that has ever happened to this gun I followed the instructions, which is RARE & IT Worked Using with out the adjustment nuts & man what a difference Thank You Chris Nelson!! Tim
The TC factory (lawyer) trigger breaks cleanly but is way too heavy at over 5Lbs. I installed the benchrest spring from this kit and lightly polished the sear with some lapping compound, it now breaks cleanly @ 1.5Lbs consistently. It passed a 24" drop test over a dozen times without failure so I have confidence in its safety. Amazing difference for a few dollars and 30 minutes of work. I bought high-end aftermarket triggers for hundreds of dollars that don't work this well.
Disappointed installed spring kit by the video provided on MCarbo web site started with the hunter spring and could not achieve a pull weight lower than #4. Removed hunter spring and installed target spring and could not achieve a pull weight lower than #3. I used the superlube on sear i purchased with trigger kit it might get better with time but this is what I have so far.

Purchased the Thompson Center Compass trigger spring reduction kit form M**CARBO. Best customer service to date of any firearm related purchases yet! to ad icing to the cake...this company is owned by Vet's!! You tube has the install video and printable instruction. Super easy to install with very basic tools. Factory trigger was 5.5lbs measured with a Wheeler trigger gauge. Installed the Hunting trigger spring and tested again...4.0lbs. I then went ahead and replaced the main trigger spring with the bench rest spring. Tested 2lb 6oz with the Wheeler trigger gauge. All of this was completed with an empty chamber and finished in 20 minutes. I used a rubber mallet to give the receiver area several good blows with the safety off and no failures. Assembled the stock and with an empty chamber hit the but of the stock on the floor multiple time in an attempt to simulate a dropped firearm. Still no accidental discharge of the FCG. Your firearm may have different results than mine so be ready to function test the firearm when finished. Definitely do this upgrade if you want to improve the trigger pull weight on your Thompson Center Compass! Excellent customer service, fast shipping and great parts and good instruction! A+ Will use them again!
Super easy install especially with the YouTube video to follow along with for people who want the step by step instructions. Springs came individually bagged and labeled which helped as well. Highly recommend this product and the pricing is incredible for everything you get.
Great kit! Pretty easy to do after watching the video, helped the trigger pull greatly! Got mine down to a crisp 3.5lb!
After kit installation, trigger pull is a crisp and precise 2.5#. Simple installation with the You Tube video. Excellent follow up by the vendor.
This kit did exactly what was advertised. Shipping was super fast. After receiving the kit I had a couple of questions. Chris the president of the company was super helpful. Customer service is the best I have encounter with any company. I definitely will purchase other items in the future.
I received my spring kit within 5 Days. the installation video was very thorough. With the Video a novice can install the Kit. The kit drastically reduced trigger pull. I would highly suggest anyone with a Compass to install this kit
Took about 1/2 hour while watching the instruction video and the trigger pull is perfect. Crisp, and about 2 1/2 lb. pull. Exactly as described.

Nice and easy to install, video was very good and the trigger feels really nice now, have not gotten a gauge on it yet to see the pull weight and have not fired the rifle with it yet, so for now its only 4 stars based on what I've done, will re-evaluate after I shoot it.
