Followed the video instruct (excellent as well) and immediately increase the performance of how the trigger felt and simultaneously reducing trigger pull. Highly highly recommend this as upgrade

Wow, I was impressed by the ease of installation and especially how much the trigger tension was reduced!! Also like the option for the 2 choices of spring tensions in the kit.
Take your Savage Axis rifle to the next level with the Pro Trigger Kit. I bought this rifle second hand and the one thing that bothered me the most was the trigger pull. Installed the M*CARBO kit right along with the video, super simple, and could not believe the difference. Trigger pull is greatly reduced and over travel is also much better. The value of this kit is far understated when you feel the difference for the first time. Save time and money by doing this trigger upgrade yourself.
This a must have upgrade if you have a savage axis. Reduce trigger from 5 lb to 2.5lb. Super easy to install after watching video. Great customer service and fast shipping. Thanks MCARBO.
got the axis trigger pro kit not realizing that it had a 2.5 AND a 3.5 spring. naturally i installed the 2.5. although i haven't been to the range yet, the trigger feels like butter. this spring may be beyond my skill set and i won't know until i try it but i may be installing the 3.5. either way, this kit greatly improved my trigger and i can't recommend it enough.

Seriously, Mcarbo has done it again. I have their kits on several shotguns. I was disappointed when I found out my Savage Axis would not take an Accu-Trigger upgrade. So I went to Mcarbo. WOW. The trashy trigger on the factory Axis is completely different with this kit. The trigger release is sure, crisp, light, and accurate. Changed the accuracy so much because of the lower trigger pull, I can't believe its a $20 Mcarbo kit!!
I was skeptical at first but after I installed it I was amazed. The trigger pull went from 5.5 lbs to 3.5 lbs. the trigger pull is very crisp and clean. It was a tight fit with the shins but that’s what you want. It did go very easy also. Fully recommend this kit to anyone looking for an improvement.
If you haven't got this trigger upgrade kit yet get one. Amazing difference. Easy installation took me 20 min. Great instruction video on Web site. Super fast ship.
When I first got my Savage Axis I was disappointed with the very heavy trigger pull. I looked for a solution and found your Axis Pro Trigger Kit. It was very easy to install, and man, WHAT a huge difference. I absolutely love it. What a sweet trigger now.
I bought my son a Savage Axis youth .243 for deer season this year. Unfortunately, the trigger sucked!!!! The pull averages around 6 lbs which made it terrible to shoot. I put the 3.5 lbs spring in and the gun constantly pulls at 3.45 lbs. great job on this kit!!!!!!!
What a difference! Turned my $250.00 rifle into one that cost $800 or more. I paid over $150.00 to put triggers in my AR's that are no better than this kit. I'm floored at the improvement this kit made.
