Video makes install easy, dropped trigger pull down to about 4 lbs, nice and smooth, no trigger wobble. Minimal time to make a great difference.
I bought the trigger kit for the Savage Axis. First thanks for the how to video on M*CARBO's website. Secondly it was relatively easy given I don't have the finger dexterity I once had. The proof of this product is whether it works or not. I measured the trigger pull prior to installing the kit and it was 7.5 - 8 lbs. pull. After the install I measured it again and it is an honest 3.5 pull. The kit does what M*CARBO says it does no politicin going on around here. Thanks M*CARBO for a product that does what you say it will.
I purchased this for a .350legend Savage Axis XP. The factory trigger was 7lbs+, being an entry level budget rifle I wasn’t surprised. My groups were under an inch but required a lot of finesse to obtain. The MCarbo trigger kit brought the pull down around 3-3.5lbs, perfect for a hunting rifle. Easy install, groups into one hole now without effort. My brothers both bought the same rifle after trying mine so I bought them each an MCarbo kit.

Added the 2.5 lb spring to my Axis. Trigger went from a gritty hard yank to a crisp light touch. Much easier to control. Less than 30 minute install.
This was my first DIY modification. After watching the video twice I felt this would be relatively simple, and it was. The difference was 7.5 # to 2.7 # trigger pull. The improvement on the range was very impressive, too.
The install was very simple, only took a few minutes. I definitely recommend watching the instructional video first. I am very impressed with the results. The trigger action is incredibly crisp and smooth. It now feels like a much more expensive rifle.
Ordered the Savage Axis XP because I’m on a budget and assumed it had the accutrigger (I just thought Savages all had that trigger). I was super bummed because once I dug deeper I found people loved this rifle, but HATED the trigger. Rather than canceling my order and spending extra for the regular Axis I researched how to fix the trigger. I found this company and this kit and gambled that it would work after watching the installation video and reviews. It’s rare to find a product that adds more value to your item than it costs! This trigger kit costed $20, but I would say adds a lot more value to the accutrigger-less Axis. Never worked on a trigger before (besides the accutrigger) and this product was very easy to install and I could tell the difference it made right away. I am pleased with Mcarbo and if I have other needs in the future, I plan to look here first.
I was skeptical after watching the videos about installing this kit and results others got from their triggers. I was wrong. The kit got here swiftly, but I wasn't here to install it (working in another state). We just moved into a new house, so some things are still in disarray, translation: it took me longer to find my tools than to do the actual installation. Easy install, and what a difference! The trigger is much lighter and cleaner breaking now! This upgrade really does take the Savage Axis platform to the next level! Get one now, you won't regret it.
I picked up an older Savage .308 Winchester Axis at a gun show for a great price and didn't want to spend more for a new trigger than the rifle. The kit took me 5 minutes to switch out thanks to the video. I had a 6.5 lbs. trigger pull and installed the 2.5 lbs. spring option. Now it's 3.5 lb (3 lbs. less and the factory and the trigger ). I may use the 1.5 lbs. spring to reduce it more but so pleased with this $20 solution. The very thin washers and grease also took out the side to side play in the trigger. I appreciated the headless, low profile, hex screw that fit into the factory threads. Well done guys!
The installation of the Axis trigger spring kit is simple and effective. After watching the installation video I installed the 2.5# spring and spacers in a Axis XP 243. The upgrade greatly improves the trigger and my ability to shoot the rifle. The first group I shot with the rifle after the installation measured 3/4" at 100 yards. With inexpensive hunting ammo. I can't wait to take the rifle out on a calm day to see how well it will really shoot.

Trigger kit arrived promptly during a pandemic as well. I watched a couple install videos ahead of time and reviewed one as I installed the trigger kit.No problems. Took the rifle to the range and was very happy with the upgraded trigger pull and that awful sideways movement of the trigger is much much better.I will recommend this kit to others.
Very simple easy kit to install and did EXACTLY what it says it will. Took up all side to side movement of the trigger, has a significantly lighter trigger pull and with the screw I was able to take out all slack and over travel so you are always on the wall of the trigger.
I am a professional game call builder and live in upstate NY. As an avid predator hunter our coyote population is extremely illusive and hard to capture good quality video of while we are calling. The Savage axis trigger kit installation was a simple, affordable amendment to my rifle, and helped build confidence for those down range shots.
