This kit does what it says. Easy install with video. Took out the side to side trigger slop. I used the 3.5lb spring for hunting. The results were awesome. Nice smooth light trigger.

I installed this kit in a savage axis without the accutrigger. tested trigger pull before installation and it averaged 6lb 10 oz. I used the lighter of the two springs that came in the kit and after installation the average trigger pull was 1 lb. 9 oz. It made an almost unshootable gun into a bench rest rifle.

I purchased the trigger kit to lighten up the horrendous trigger on my rifle. The install was quick and using the 3.5 lb trigger spring brought my trigger down to 2 lbs. I am very happy with the kit, it was a great price and an easy fix for a factory trigger.

When you buy a new Savage Axis do not bother buying ammunition for it until you install this trigger kit. The factory 6 Lb. trigger is BRUTAL, and there is a ton of slop and play in the trigger to add insult to injury. This M-Carbo kit cleans that up BEAUTIFULLY. We used one kit with the 3.5 Lb. spring in one Axis and another kit with the 2.5 Lb. spring in a second Axis rifle and they are both OUTSTANDING. Either one of them will thrill you after you experience the garbage factory trigger. Installation is magnificently simple. Your 7 year old daughter who could not care less about new rifles could watch the short, concise tutorial video and install this kit quickly and correctly. It's a breeze to install. Bought a new .270 Savage Axis for my grandson to use hog hunting. Tried to sight in at 100 yards with 3 different ammos. Best I could group was about 3 to 3 1/2 in. Absolutely Hated the stock trigger. Very heavy. Couldn’t tell when it was going to go off. Installed your trigger kit. Smooth, clean, break at around 3 1/2 pounds. Immediately started making 1 to 1 1/4 in 3 shot grips. All for less than $20. You guys are great!!!
