Received my pro spring kit today and promptly installed it on my savage axis XP. Took about 5 minutes following the install video, used the 2.5 pound spring and all I can say is WOW! The trigger went from making you wonder if the safety was on and denting your finger in trying to pull it to feeling like a custom trigger in an expensive rifle. Better than the Savage accutrigger in my opinion. Thanks for a great product!
What a fantasitc kit, instructions, and online video to make the installation process seemless! Everything you need. This was installed on a brand new rifle. The trigger pull was at 5.5 to 6.0 factory out of the box. After the pro kit was installed my trigger pull was 1.5 to 1.8! The kit came with a 2.5 lb spring and a 3.5 lb spting. I installed the 2.5lb spring. Have not shot the rifle yet, but the install was awesome and the feel outstanding!! Thanks

Installed this trigger on my new savage axis xp. Very easy install and the best trigger on any of my hunting rifles. I used the lighter of the two springs and the shim washers and couldn’t be be more impressed with the results. Amazing difference!!!
As a veteran I am proud to buy from fellow vets. I purchased and easily installed the Savage Axis Pro tigger kit on the first try in less than 15 minutes. The Axis is an entry level firearm from which I have extracted less than 1/2 moa with my load workup (Tested prior to installing) The stock trigger was heavier than any I have experienced in my 60 plus years of shooting in or out of the military. (God, I really don’t think lawyers realize how much damage they do with requiring cinder block trigger pulls 8 lbs or more) I know that with a crisp 2-1/2 Lb trigger I can shrink the groups further and have a genuine $300.00 long range rifle in my hands. This trigger gives me that ability at less than the cost of 1 box of ammo! Get yours today. You’ll be glad you did!

I happened to find this kit while searching for an aftermarket trigger for my axis. This was the perfect solution. Now I have a nice 3.5 lb trigger with no side to side play. Installation was simple, the video walks you through it step by step. The longest part was tracking down the detent clip I shot across the shop. I still have the rifle broken down for cerakote, but can't wait to try it out. I will be trying out some more kits in the future for sure.
