This install took my trigger pull from 6.8 lbs to 3.5lbs. The shims took all the slop out of the trigger. I used the 3.5 lb spring. Safety works without any adjustment. Did a 1 foot butt drop test, no problems with gun discharge. The install took about 10 minutes. Before the upgrade I was putting 5 shots in a 1” circle at 100 yards. I can’t wait to take it to the range to see if I have shrunk that to sub moa. I highly recommend this upgrade!

The overtravel screw i got with my kit is too big , and does not fit
Very easy to install! Simple spring change and shims addition to take out side play. Helped a lot to reduce felt trigger pull. Works great.

I ordered this spring kit for my Granddaughter's savage axis. The factory trigger was terrible, which resulted in "bad" shots for her. I installed the spring kit and was amazed how much crisper the trigger pull is and the reduction in trigger pull weight. She shoots with more accuracy and confidence. This product is very easy to install and for the price it is a very simple, inexpensive alternative to an expensive trigger. Makes a huge difference on the range as well.
Great upgrade to the Savage! I bought the Savage axis 243 for my girls to use for hunting and noticed that the factory trigger was way too hard for my nine year old to shoot consistently. I wasn't too interested in spending $150 for a match grade trigger for a $300 rifle but definitely needed to reduce the trigger pull. This product was the perfect solution! For $20 there isn't a reason not to do this
