The fellas here at Mcarbo are great. I ordered my pro trigger and it is excellent! No kiddin, I love this little rifle but I needed ah team of horses to pull the trigger. I think it’s great that y’all came up with this kit for such a popular rifle. Easy to install and works like a dream, I mean I can’t say enough. Now to war with the damn whistle pigs here at the farm! God bless y’all and stay safe. As always, thank ya for your service.
This spring kit was a well needed part for my savage rifle and it’s definitely changed the shooting experience it came in clutch when making those long Precise shots. This budget rifle is really coming together with small parts like this that make a huge difference
The M*Carbo Savage trigger kit turned my Gen I Savage Axis trigger from a stiff 6+ lb. pull to a crisp predictable 3 lb. "touch". I'd call it a "squeeze", but my round is already headed down range by that point. I went with the 3.5 rather than the 2.5 lb. spring which would be an absolute hair trigger. And the shims cleaned up the side-to-side wobble nicely. I couldn't be happier! If you have a Savage without an Accutrigger, this is an absolute must! Oh, and install time was 10 minutes.
Fast shipping. Install was super easy. Careful not to lose the ecip. Reduced pull as advertised, waiting a range trip.
Great product! Great price. Better than advertised. Cleaned up trigger on Axis 223. Reduced pull by over 40%. Went from 5lb8oz/5lb12oz to consistent 2lb15oz and basically removed all overtravel and side to side play. Was able to achieve 1/4 MOA at 100 yards. Nice and crisp. Great installation video on line. Piece of cake 15 minute install. I highly recommend!! USAF Vet thanks brothers.
Ordered for one of my favorite hunting rifles in spite of the trigger. Trigger much better can’t wait to get to the range ! Shipped fast- installation very simple using the video
Shipped fast, installed easily, works as advertised. I also recommend polishing the seer and bar (with Flitz) for some extra crispness. Trigger beaks like glass.
I install this in a savage 7mm08 with a Boyds stock. The kit I used wasn't the pro kit it was the standard kit with a machined screw and spring. The Boyd stock required wood material to be remove for the head of the machine screw head to clear when reinstalling the barrel to the stock but was down very easy once I figured it out. It works great now.
Installed the deluxe kit in an Axis 6.5 Creedmoor. Have not had a chance to shoot the rifle yet but the difference in trigger pull is noticeable different. Great idea and product. Didn’t like having to pay almost $12 for shipping such a small and lite box though. WOW, $12?
Dropped the 3.5lbs spring into my 308 axis, which I use as my hunting rifle. Trigger pull is much smoother & I am extremely pleased. Glad I did this before dropping more $ on a high end trigger upgrade. Going to leave the rifle as it is now, cause it performs great.
I purchased this trigger kit to reduce the trigger pull. It did exactly that. Watched the how to video on it and it was pretty easy to install.
All I can say is wow! Easy to install and what a difference!
MCARBO Trigger kit for my Savage Axis made the world of difference in. Performs as well as much more expensive triggers in some of my other rifles. Shipping time was sooner than advertised. Great company, great products!
I installed the trigger kit and was AMAZED at the difference in the trigger pull!! I didnt realize how heavy it was until now!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Great trigger kit, makes a hug difference in the gun. Highly recommend, and they have a great video on how to install it.
I ordered this to help reign in my accuracy issues due to the extremely heavy trigger pull of my Savage Axis. I was shooting 3-3¹/² in groups at 75 yrds before installing this trigger kit. The kit was super easy to install, and the results were phenomenal. I will admit, the first 2 shots was a little wide due to the fact that I wasn't expecting such a change in effort to fire and the rifle fired before I was on target. However once I realized how little effort was needed to fire, I went from 3-3¹/² in groups to 1-1¹/² in groups. All things considered this is an excellent choice for upgrading your trigger that won't break the bank, unlike aftermarket replacement triggers. Thanks Mcarbo!
