I am a new gun owner novice. Bought the parts, found the U-tube video on how to do it and 1-2-3, the spring was installed. Love the new feel to the trigger, highly recommend it.
I installled this on my Axis 30-06. Easy install with the video on your website. My trigger was greatly improved, and brought my shot groups to sub-MOA.
I was a little hesitant to get the kit but very happy that I did. The trigger pull is a crisp 3 lbs and the trigger wobble is gone. It fires like much more expensive rifle. I would recommend this to anybody!
The kit was easy to install other than when I went to install shims it was extremely tight. Not a big deal I understand not all guns are exactly same and could have just buffed down one side and been easier. But the 3.5 spring put trigger pull right where I wanted it for hunting.
This was the easiest, cheapest and most productive upgrade I’ve ever done! Took less than 10 minutes, and made a huge difference!
Installed spring, shims and adjusted new set screw for over travel, shaved about 3lbs off trigger pull, absolutely excellent results. Also, the video makes the installation effortless.
Great results from a great product. The trigger coming from factory is horrible and this kit makes a big difference.
The factory trigger on my axis was pretty light to begin with at about 2.75 lbs on my wheeler digital scale. After installation of this kit, which was very easy and straight forward, it is now at an average of 1lb. I have slammed the gun around and the trigger is still completely safe with no accidental firings(unloaded of course). I could not be happier with this upgrade and would never think of spending upwards of $150 on anything when this works so well. I will continue to purchase from M*CARBO as everything I have seen from them so far works as billed.
Bought this kit a year ago. My Savage Axis is chambered in 350 Legend . First I never had a problem with heavy triggers. This Axis had a pretty heavy trigger. I could still shoot 1/4 inch to 3 pretty much in the same hole with this gun if I really concentrated. I finally installed the kit, easy to do.( watch the video from Mcarbo) I installed the 3.5 LB spring. What a difference! Thanks for making a great product.
I was so disappointed when I bought my son the Savage Axis in .350 Legend and realized how TERRIBLE the trigger was. Did some research and found this kit. My son (10) very much enjoyed sighting the firearm in after I installed this kit. Great parts, great company. 🇺🇸
took a few minutes to install and it is worlds better than the factory spring, the shims with the added grease make the pull smooth and light, definately get this for your axis, adding a 100 dollar+ trigger to a budget hunting rifle kinda defeats the purpose of buying a budget rifle

Easy install, didn't take any time at all. Smooth trigger pull and light pull now.
The trigger kit for the savage axis was easy to install and the difference is unbelievable. The kit took all of the side play out of the trigger and reduced the trigger pull weight by half!
This made what was an awful trigger pull into a 2.5 lb crisp, clean break! Easy to install and well worth the price!
