I wanted to replace the trigger spring on my Savage Axis 6.5 Creedmor. After doing a little research I found this website, and decided to order. The kit was delivered on the day I was told, and was kept up to date throughout the whole shipping process. Kit comes in and was an easy install. M*Carbo does have a YouTube video, that I watched before I ordered the spring kit. I will definitely be a returning customer. Keep up the great work
Got this last year for an old .270 axis, and just got another one for a .308. Anyone that knows the old Savages knows how heavy the trigger can be. This got it down to a legit 2.5 lbs per testing. Very easy to install with the video and great product. The grease that comes with it is an added bonus. Good job with this one brothers.
This took the heavy pull of my 30-06 down to a very comfortable pull. I also put a kit in my 6.5 creedmoor and they both have a very clean, crisp, and easy trigger pull. Highly recommend.
I purchased 2 of these trigger kits and received them quickly plus got free stickers. I put them in both a 7mm-08 and 308. Definite improvement. Quality product and video was easy to follow for installation. Will order more from this company.
This trigger upgrade is a must for the Axis. It’s original trigger feel is stiff and sloppy. The Pro kit takes the slop out of the trigger and improves feel and accuracy. Well worth the money!!
I reduced the trigger pull on my nephew's savage axis in 40 minutes. This kit is awesome! The shims are a nice finishing touch. Trigger pull was cut in half. I also drop successfully drop tested the rifle from a couple of feet. This Axis is going to be a shooter now!
I just finished installing my Savage AXIS Pro Trigger Kit and am very happy with the result! Not only is the trigger pull weight significantly reduced, because of the shims and lubricant it also feels much smoother and crisper. I won the rifle (a 30-06) at a fundraiser and after trying it out at the range knew I wanted to make the trigger better somehow. After finding M.CARBO online (score “1” for Google) I ordered the Pro upgrade kit early December. The trigger kit was backordered for a few weeks and arrived early-mid January. M.CARBO was exceptional in keeping me up to date on the status of my order. Whenever I sent an email I received a very quick reply, usually the same day. They were always very professional. The upgrade kit itself was very simple to install. The video (I went to YouTube) was extremely helpful and I highly recommend watching it completely through before starting the upgrade, especially for people like me who have never done this kind of thing before. Just installed this on my Savage Axis 6.5 Creedmoor and it makes a hell of a difference. Excellent reduction in trigger pull allowing for noticeably tighter groups. High quality parts and great customer experience.

i was very impressed at how much of a difference it did in my trigger i am very satisfied. would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a lighter weight trigger for an axis without spending the big money on an adjustable trigger.
I purchased this trigger kit to fix the original stock trigger on my Savage Axis rifle, WOW what a difference it made. The shims fixed the tolerances on the left and right of the trigger so there's virtually zero wobble, just a straight to the rear pull and the 2.5lbs spring is consistently good. I took it to the range and was grouping within 2" at 100 yards and roughly 4" at 200 yards. I was so impressed I took it predator hunting on Sunday and was able to call it and harvest my very first Bobcat with it!
Wow! This is a must trigger upgrade kit on your Savage rifle. I used the 2.5lb spring and it was very easy after watching the video. This spring was a huge improvement over the 6+lb factory unit.
The kit was easy and took only 15 minutes to install. The trigger breaks around 2.5 to 3 Ibs and feels light years better than the stock trigger spring. The shims helped reduce trigger side to side wobble. By far the best $20 spent!
Bought my son an Axis .223,very nice rifle for the price, but he didn't like the heavy trigger pull. I suggested a Timney but his allowance being what it is, he did some research and found this kit. Install was super easy and with the 2.5# spring, he (and I) are loving the rifle.

I spent many hours working on the triggers of 2 Axis rifles. I improved the quality of the trigger pull but still was not satisfied with performance of the triggers. A Pro Kit in both rifles did more to improve the quality of my trigger pull than the hours I spent doing all the tips and tricks on the triggers. Now the triggers are great and I would be happy with them in an rifle I own. I can’t say enough about how much these simple upgrades improve trigger pull.
