With the video and the easy upgrade. I was able to remove the old spring and replace and grease the the upgrade shims with no issues. Great product.

I had watched a YouTube video on an axis upgrade, and had planned to build my own setup. The next video that auto played was the Mcarbo video for this kit. I went from a 8 lbs pull with slop to a crisp 3 pound pull after installing this kit. Great product! Would buy again.
Fast 15 minute trigger upgrade for the Savage Axis. Has all materials you need except a dab of blue locktite and your tools. Easy instructional video. Very happy with the results!
When I install a trigger upgrade of any type I just want a guy to appreciate the result. IMO the Axis Pro Trigger kit is the most affordable and effective option I've ever worked with. It's easy to install and there's no fitting or 'polishing' of components needed on a day-old Axis. Install in minutes and enjoy. btw, I'll set the over-travel screw where a guy likes the feel, then use a green, wicking thread-locker to anchor it. 5/5
Easy to install and great upgrade
I hated the trigger on my Savage Axis 6.5 Creedmoor, I felt like I had pull on the trigger forever with a lot of force before it fired, but didn't feel comfortable with getting and installing a new trigger, and really didn't want to spend 1/2 as much on the trigger as I did on the rifle.... I liked that this had an easy to follow video of the installation, and it walked me through it. The install really was easy (I even had to redo it because I put the 2.5lbs spring in it instead of the 3.5lbs spring, and I didn't have a problem with a quick redo to put in the spring I wanted. My gun didn't have as much slop in the trigger as the one in the video, but the shims fit nicely, and now there is hardly any wiggle. Now the trigger pull is effortless.

Befire ordering the kit I had previously cut the original coil down and polished the sear. I had the trigger breaking at exactly 4 pounds. I'm not satisfied with that. So I ordered the above kit. I installed above kit. It installed very easily. After reassembly with the 2.5 pound spring in. I tested my pull and the trigger broke again repeatedly at exactly 4 pounds. The shims and the over travel stop work fantastically. "These two products can be had for a lot less elsewhere" but I do believe the kit was worth the price of the shims and travel stop. I do believe you can skip the Mcarbo springs and clip the factory down to your liking with same results. Every rifle is different though. Make it your own.
Much needed upgrade for the Savage Axis. Factory trigger is way to heavy. This upgrade is much lighter and much smoother. Easy install as well, highly recommended!
Purchased the Axis Pro trigger kit figuring I've blown $20 on worse stuff for guns so I figured why not? Not only was the service and turn around time at really good but I was exceptionally pleased at the follow up and actual installation. Granted, I did heed the email saying watch the video. So I watched the video. While I had some difficulty getting the shims in correctly, the steps from the video were on target. Pun intended. Reassembled the rifle after performing a few other maintenance items and pulled the trigger. Wow! Huge difference. I used to describe the trigger on my Axis rifle with the term brick or ton of boulders involved. Now it's a sweet squeeze and a very satisfying "click" when I dry fire. Anxious to get out with some ammo chambered and see how the trigger performs. Mentally, I'm already shooting better as I know the trigger isn't a drawback anymore. BUY THE KIT! Thanks MCarbo!
Instructions were clear and easy to follow on the video. It took me 10 minutes to complete and I was taking my time to make sure I did it right. The amount of pressure needed to pull the trigger is cut in half. I highly recommend this kit if you want less effort in the trigger pull.
Everyone with an Axis should buy this. Cuts the trigger pull in half. Super easy to put in too. Best money you will spend on the rifle
I ordered this kit for a friend's rifle. After polishing sear and trigger surfaces and checking for positive engagement angle, I installed this kit with the 2.5 lb. spring. Several checks with my trigger pull gauge showed 2lb14oz to 3lb1oz, with almost zero over travel. My friend was so happy with it, I now need to order at least one more kit for another friend's rifle. Factory trigger was so creepy and heavy, almost 7lbs, The lawyers must have been pleased. Now my friend's rifle shoots more accurately, so the only problem he has now is the cost of ammo because he can't stop shooting it. Absolutely a great purchase.

I just installed the new trigger spring and shims in my Savage Axis. It was really easy and took only 10 minutes, start to finish. It dropped the trigger pull about 2 pounds. It is a big improvement, I love the feel of the trigger now. This is the easiest and least expensive way to improve an Axis trigger.
