Great product. Easy to install and reduced my group size significantly. Video of install was great!
I had purchased this kit for my Savage Axis .223. I followed installation video that M*CARBO had posted on YouTube. It was easy and simple to replace the spring and add the shims. The trigger pull feels 100x batter that before. The entire process took lass that 30 minutes. I recommend this upgrade to anybody who has the same rifle.
Kit arrived quickly, watched the YouTube install video. Installation went smooth, and this kit made a big difference. This went on my daughter's Savage Axis .243 and she loves the trigger now.
I was sceptical about the reviews at first as there is no modification or replacement the of sear but man does this work. Installation took about 30 minutes and would have been shorter but an extra pin came loose so I had a bit more reassembly. The trigger weight and creep has been completely changed from about 7 pounds to 2. If you own this rifle, get this package.
This took out the sloppy side to side trigger feeling and reduced the trigger pull. I used the 2.5 pounds trigger spring and it feels great. Instructions are perfect!
Very happy with the Pro Trigger Kit !! Installation was a breeze while watching the video. Hardest part was removing the factory wax. Made a huge difference in the trigger pull and slop from factory. This is for my sons 7mm-08, and I can’t wait to get him out to the range and ready for deer season. I think this will make a huge difference in accuracy and confidence!! I was looking for a lighter spring pull and less wobble for my 6.5. I did find cheaper options but they all had a head on the screw that would require modifications on the stock, this on did not. Also this came with two spring options, I will eventually try them both, but for now I have the 2lbs spring installed. The install is very easy especially if you have watched the video for any tips or tricks. Thank you. Wonderful product.
I probably should have written this after shooting the gun at the range and likely will do so, however the installation was so easy I just had to write. I bought this after watching the "how to" on you tube and thought what the heck if it took a pro 10 minutes i should have this in half hour or so. It took me 15 minutes and I cant wait to go shooting. You can feel the difference immediately. Almost no wobble and the pull weight is dramatically reduced. What a great product guys and thank you. I know this is going to help with my groupings.
Watch the m carbo video first. This kit takes less than 10 min. My trigger was 6# now its a consistant 2.5#.
Great Job guys. I gave it 4 stars only because I haven't got to the range yet. Received mine was able to install the pro kit within 30 mins. The tutorial video is great. I can say my trigger pull is reduced and no side play in the trigger. if it functions that well at the range I will be buying more items.
Admittedly, I have not used the 2 firearms I bought this kit for at the range yet, but as far as the installation, it was pretty easy and the video they provide on their website walks you right through the process. The trigger pull is significantly lighter. There is very little creep. I went ahead and installed the 2.5 lb spring, as I did not find it as light as others, so I will be using it in a hunting setting. The beauty of this kit is that I can always change it out for the 3.5 lb spring if the range visit proves I should. Great price given the value added to the firearm. Wish I had bought them sooner. My only suggestion is that if came with a little locktite so it was an all inclusive kit.
After installing the rifle is much easier to shoot. I have a youth 243 win and noticed my kids drugging to pull the trigger, before the kit the trigger pull felt like it was about 7- 8 lbs Niue it is half the weight. Much cheaper than buying a different trigger.
Total install time was about 15 minutes. Reduced the trigger pull to 3 pounds 4 ounces on average and greatly improved trigger feel.
