My family loves Savage rifles especially the Axis. We have been buying them for years and I have one in 6.5 Creedmoor, 270 and 223. My son has a 6.5 Cm, a 243 and a 308, he just bought a Axis XP 350 Legend for his son. All had crappy triggers. I bought a kit for my 6.5Cm and couldn't believe it. I put the 3.5# spring in it and with the trigger shimming it measured at 3.2# and very crisp. I bought a second for my grandsons 350 Legend, again awesome. I'm ordering another 5 kits, maybe 6. This kit is the best bang for the buck there is and is a MUST for any stand trigger Axis out there. Took me 10 minutes to install on my dining room table.

The parts provided in the kit were easy to install and fit the firearm as described and made the trigger light and crisp. However, after installation of the 2.5 and later the 3.5 lb spring a light tap on the receiver with a rubber mallet would cause the trigger to release which would result in an accidental discharge. I left the overtravel screw and trigger shims from the MCARBO kit installed but sourced a heavier spring for the sake of having a safer firearm.
Product as ordered and delivered in a timely manor. Installation was easy following the video guide. Made something from nothing. Went from horrible trigger to acceptable which is a huge leap. Large reduction in trigger pull weight and took slop out of trigger. Bought a cheap rifle for my son to start shooting with and he had to use two fingers to press the trigger until this spring kit instal. Total fix and best $20 I’ve spent in a while. Bought this to replace the awful trigger Savage puts on their Axis rifles. Went from a 5 1/2# trigger pull to a 3# pull in about 10minutes with no problems at all. Quick shipping as well. This is a great company to work with
I was very happier with the ease of installation, as well as the end result of the trigger kit for my Savage Axis. Before the upgrade, my trigger was at an awful 6#. The installation took no more than 20 minutes, and afterward, is consistent at <3#. Prior to finding the trigger kit on-line, I was looking at spending $125+ for a replacement trigger. So glad I found the M*CARBO kit. If you are wondering whether this kit is worth it? I say definitely.
This kit dropped my pull weight to exactly 3.0 lbs! Super easy to install! Can’t wait to run some rounds through it with this new setup!
The original trigger spring felt like I was holding a bottle of Heinz ketchup...the anticipation...the M*Carbo pro trigger kit, is like an ice cold Shiner, clean and crisp! installed it just like they said and no further adjustments were needed. I recently won a Savage Axis and upon picking it up was very dissatisfied with the stock non accu trigger. After seaching for alteratives I discovered this product. It was very easy to install this kit and the differance was huge. Eveybody I know that has an Axis is coverting their triggers as well. In one week of owning the pro kit I have ordered and installed 2 more for friends and family. I actually just finished ordering my 4th pro kit. I can and do recommend this kit without hesitation. Thank you for a great product that will be helping fill tags and freezers this fall.
After seeing this on Youtube I ordered this product and within 3 days I was installing it. It was a very simple and easy installation and dropped my tripper pull to a consistent 3.6 . Thanks MCARBO for giving my Savage Axis a Custom Trigger job.
After installing the 4 1/2 # spring I was pleased with how much it improved the trigger pull until I went hunting with it, I loaded a bullet in the chamber as soon as I turned the safety off the gun shot without touching the trigger, luckily no one got killed but it was damaging to our ears. As soon as I got home I put the factory spring back in. Please test your springs you may have a bad batch.

Savage Axis .350 Legend. Kit was extremely easy to install with exception of the washers. ended up leaving them out. The factory trigger pull was terrible, which you are aware of if you are looking at this product. I installed the 2.5 lb spring and it is now very light and crisp. If you are looking for a better trigger on your Axis rifle I do recommend this one.
My rifle came with a 9 lb trigger pull, it now has a 2 1/2 lb with no over travel, no side wiggle, smooth as silk. AWESOME!
