This was so easy to install. Watched the video and was completed in 20 minutes start to finish. I used the 2.5 lb spring and perfect for what I use the rifle for. Used the Loctite and reinstalled the set screw and reassembled.
I recently bought a savage XP 7mm-08 and went to the range and boy was that trigger hard around 6+ lbs. So the next day I went online and found these guys and boy am I impressed with the quality and ease of installation. A friend purchased a standard Savage Axis rifle without the accu-trigger. The trigger was right around 7# and made grouping almost impossible. In fact, it was to the point where he felt like getting rid of the gun. I bought him this trigger kit and put in the 2-3# spring. HOLY COW! What a difference. The trigger is now a very crisp 2# and he is shooting groups like he has never before. The trigger is now even better than the stock accutriggers. Install was child's play. Even if you have all thumbs you can do this install. Don't suffer with the standard Savage trigger. Get this one and never look back. You'll have no regrets for doing it.

My wife’s axis trigger pull was between 5.5 and 6 pounds and she was shooting 4” groups. I had never done anything like installing a trigger upgrade but after watching the video I decided to give it a try. The kit is super easy to install and it brought her trigger pull down to around 3 pounds. Took her out the next day and she is now shooting 1” groups on a consistent basis. Best thing I ever did to improve her accuracy. I highly recommend this kit

I LIKE this trigger kit. My trigger pull went from 5.75 lbs. to 2.5 lbs. with no excess movement. I highly recommend this kit to anyone looking to improve the trigger on their AXIS rifle.
This is hands down the best upgrade to your axis rifle with the non adjustable trigger. The instructions in the video were very easy to follow.
Cant believe it took me so long to get this sorted out. Not to mention I thought I'd need a gunsmith. Nope. I could do it at home, and tremendously increase my accuracy.
A couple years ago I bought an Axis II in 6.5CM. After (the unknown virus is undisclosed origin) started dying down the only ammo I could find was .308. Eventually I bought an Axis. The stock trigger is heavier than a milspec AR and something had to be done - enter MCARBO. The trigger takes minutes to install; just watch the video a couple times prior but it completely changed the rifle. I don't have a gauge but I'd be willing to bet it is very close to the 3.5# the spring is supposed to be. An easy and very affordable upgrade. Unfortunately my rifle has the X style ridges or is but the stock stiffening kit too.
Kit comes with two springs, a 2.5lb and 3.5lb. I used the 2.5lb spring. The results speak for themself. Prior to installation the trigger pull for 5 snaps averaged 5lbs 4.2oz. After the kit install 5 snaps averaged 1lb 6.4oz. The trigger on this rifle did not wiggle much but with the shims it completely disappeared. I took my time with, it took between a half hour and 45 minutes.
