I came across 2 axis models in 308 and decided to do a fun longish range project for me and my son. Rifles are sequential serial number 10 years old and were only fired to zero the scopes. Original pulls were 6.8 and 7.4 averaged over 5 pulls. With a great deal of side to side movement and at least ?inch of overtravel. After install 3.5 and 3.7 respectively. Zero overtravel and no noticeable side to side movement. The thing that surprised me was the shot to shot consistency. 5 pulls with never more than a .02 deviation. Normally you'll see upwards of a pound difference from shot to shot. Im very impressed, this kit feels similar to my 125+ dollar timney triggers. Will recommend whole heartedly and buy again without hesitation

Bought the cheap version of the Axis, without Accutrugger because rifle was going to be a tractor gun and knew it was going to have a rough life. What a mistake.. terrible trigger pull and wobble. Installed the Mcarbo Pro Trigger Kit and what a huge difference it made. Now this rifle has a lite, crisp pull. Super easy to install. Best $20 dollar improvement you can make. Savage is known for a accurate budget friendly rifle and this trigger kit improves on that.
Wow! What a difference! As others probably know, the Savage Axis is a nice budget rifle but the trigger pull is awful. This MCARBO kit was very easy to install by following the video and it made a tremendous difference! In fact, it took several rounds at the range to get use to how crisp the pull (now) is. The best money ($20!), I've spent on a rifle!
Ordered this kit for my gen1 savage axis because those don't have the accutrigger. And wow Is all I can say. For a $20 kit made a world of difference. Went down from a 6lb pull to a 3lb. The shim kit cleans up the slop in the factory trigger and makes the overall trigger pull much cleaner, crisp and lighter. To not have to spend $150 on a timney trigger, since the axis is just a budget rifle to begin with. I'm very happy with this kit. Highly recommend for anyone with a savage axis that doesn't have the accutrigger.
With over 50 years of shooting experience I’ve learned the largest reason for shooting inaccuracies is to heavy of a trigger pull. The Axis Pro Trigger Kit was easy to install and reduced the trigger pull from over 6 to 2.5 lbs. Awesome product. Fast shipping.
Products continue to impress me! A buddy bought a new savage axis .308, we hated the trigger when we were sighting it in. After installing the pro kit, the trigger felt 300% better, down to a 2.5 lb pull. Would recommend MCARBO products to anyone! 3rd gun done and I haven't been disappointed yet!
I love the m carbo axis pro trigger spring kit I have ordered 2 kits to date the first kit was great it was just the spring the second was even better it came with 2 springs and spacers was super easy to install and worked great my trigger pull went from 7.5 lbs to 3 lbs so if you want to have a great trigger on your savage axis the m carbo savage axis pro trigger spring kit is the only one to buy it's the best bang for your buck. What a wonderful upgrade. I installed the kit with little trouble. The you tube link made it so easy. Highly recommended the upgrade. The spacers that came with the kit removed all side play. Could not be happier!
Purchased the pro trigger kit for my axix 308 and I can’t be more pleased. The install video was great and the actual installation was very smooth. As for did it work as expected, absolutely, I will range test it this week now that the 90 * heat it gone and expect to be pleasantly surprised.
This kit works as described! Took me 5 minutes to do the first rifle and about 3 to do the second! I would recommend this to anybody cause it made an affordable rifle feel like an upper end!

I have installed this kit in 2 Savage Axis rifles which both had measured trigger pulls in the mid to high 6 pound range. After the installation both measured in the mid 3 pound range. After watching the video it took about 15 minutes per rifle. I am very happy with the results. Thank you MCARBO.
I have but this kit on all three axis rifles I own. All are axis one models w/o adjustable triggers. This kit take that still trigger feel out and makes it crisp and light trigger.
well, I finally had an oppertunity yo try out my two new trigger kits, one on my 308 and the other on my 243. both preformed wonderfully, reducing the trigger from 5+ to 2.8 pounds. i love them. thanks a lot john.
i bought two hoping to ease some of the pressure it takes to pull the trigger on my 2 new AXIS, a 243 and a 308. the KITS worked better than i expected coming in a 2.8 pounds and 2.7 pounds. ill say it well worth the time, money and effort . thank you Brothers for this trigger.
