Just fired my X bolt today after installing the new spring. Trigger pull is a smooth 3 pounds with no creep. I would highly recommend this product.

Turns browning trigger into a match trigger. Set mine at 2.5 lbs on my x bolts 243 and 270 wood and could not be happier. You can’t save factory spring and who wants to anyway. 5stars for this product.
I Purchased the spring kit for two of my X bolt rifles the installation was easy and reduce a trigger pull by half. The end results is both triggers are around 2.5. Could not be happier with the results.
I have two XBolts and added the trigger spring to both. The spring allowed me to get one rifle down to 2lb pull and the other to 2lb 5oz. Both would only go a little below 4oz with the stock trigger spring.
I would recommend this upgrade to anyone not happy with their factory Browning trigger. Adjusted mine to just over 2lbs. It's a night and day difference at a fraction of the cost of a new trigger. Awesome vereran owned company with American made products the way it should be 🇺🇲
I installed one of these springs in a new X-bolt in 204 ruger. The rifle was super accurate with 32 grain Hornandy Vmax ammo and the only thing that I felt that needed improvement was the so called "feather" trigger. And honestly it wasn't horrendous, but definitely needed some improvement. I ordered it up and watched one of the videos on YouTube for installation instructions. The whole spring swap took me about 10 minutes total time and the results were amazing. I went from about 3.8 lbs from the factory to about 2.1 lbs after the trigger swap. What an improvement! Thanks for a great product! I have another one on order right now for another xbolt that I have coming.......
The Xbolt was always a hard one to get the trigger the way you like it, sometimes it's natural adjustments just weren't enough even when lighteing/unscrewing the grubscrew and complete trigger system replacement are far too expensive. Once I bought this from Mcarbo and had it shipped to the UK, in no time at all I might add, it is fidgety to get the original spring out but the video on here helped greatly and I got a nice crisp light trigger for my hunting needs. I have since bought two more and fitting the next few occasions become very simple and easy to do, having done it the first time. Great and cost effective product and good customer service from Mcarbo as always.
Effectively reduced the pull weight on my x bolt from from heavy (est 4.5lbs, which was as low as it would adjust) to light( est 2lbs). Now the trigger is comparable to a much spendier aftermarket trigger... Don't let the install scare you it took me less than 10 minutes. Another way to remove the factory spring is to use a tiny flat blade screwdriver and push it down and over from the adjustment screw hole.
I have done a number of trigger jobs on various weapons but the X bolt was particularly effective. I never liked the original trigger pull. Even at its lightest it was too heavy and compared to other weapon brands, it was my least favorite. Well after doing this trigger job I actually felt it was too light... and needed a bit extra on the adjustment bolt. I was pleasantly surprised. I would say it went from 3lb to maybe 1lb. If i had not added more tension I think it would have been 12oz odd. Crazy light. Needless to say I am very happy with my $12 purchase vs $200 for a complete new one.
Easy to install, perfect 2 lb trigger!!! I can't say enough good about all MCARBO spring kits!
My only complaint on my x bolt was the trigger and now after this easy install very happy. I was about to spend big money on after market trigger when I came across this. If you own a Browning X Bolt this is a must have.

Performs just as advertised. Light and crisp. Fast, easy install if you trash the original spring. You can take the assembly apart to save it, but that's a PITA. Great product and customer service.
Installation was much easier than I imagined. Once I removed the trigger I was able to easily get to the spring. I even managed to save the original spring. As for performance, it feels better to the hand but still feels a bit stiffer than I would like. I have yet to take it to the range and have only dry fired it, so I am hoping that improves. I don’t have a trigger pull gauge so I can’t say definitively the amount of reduction. If you are looking for improvement but don’t want to spend $200 to replace a fairly acceptable trigger on a hunting rifle, this is the way to go.
