Felt mushy and decreased reliability

I installed in my EC9s and used for about 200 rounds. I started having light strikes and reset issues after 50 rounds or so. Problems went away after putting the factory springs back in. Feel was very mushy.

It truly works as in their video

My kit came in yesterday’s mail, I decided to do the installation immediately. The trigger pull was a shade over 5# on my 8 year old LC9 s Pro. The first 2 spring were the easy part after watching your video I think I could do it again blindfolded. Remember to have the tools recommended in video if you improvise you will have more difficulty and possibly cause damage.
Then it was time to do the trigger spring taking the mechanism from the plastic pistol body is simple , a few parts fell off and I had to use the video to make sure I reinstalled in proper location, since the Pro doesn’t have a safety remember to not look for the parts there not there but the spot for them are don’t let it confuse you. I has difficulty keeping that tiny spring that is in the trigger safety bar in the correct position during reassembly, I found that you must let gravity be your 3rd pair of hands in doing the installation. I had all the new parts properly installed after around 20 minutes. I then went to put the barrel slide back on and there was a pin that secures the rail to the frame that was blocking the track. I just had to tap it back into position and the assembly was complete.
I took out my trigger gauge and it’s just as advertised I got a 2# drop and it’s at around 3# with every pull I’ll go to the range shortly to sell how it feels in action. But from dry firing I which I knew about this upgrade years ago. My Ruger is what I call my dress concealed carry pistol as it the smallest one I have with some guts. I don’t have faith in my 380. When I’m in areas that have the potential to be a problem i carry a compact 45 . But fortunately in the 40+ years I’ve been carrying I’ve never had to draw but I’ve always worked on being a better marksman especially as you get older you can’t rely on your fists like you could in the past. Hopefully not having to use my firearms in defense continues but I’m ready if it’s needed . Remember to carry because the bad guys never forget.

This is my second spring kit I’ve ordered from MCARBO. The first was for a Marlin Model 60 22LR that performs perfectly! The second one was for a Ruger EC9s. Again, it performs perfectly as well. Great products at a great price that work as advertised! I would recommend their products to anyone looking for quality products and parts! Thanks MCARBO!
great results, good installation video

Soft stricken hits

After installing the 3 springs, I am experiencing soft striks on bullet. About 1 and sometimes as many as 3 miss fires.
I am confident this problem will get resoved.
Very nice upgrade

All I had to do is watch the video, which was very well done and covered everything that you need to do from the necessary tools and even everything that could go wrong. The trigger pull is a lot smoother with a much less gritty feel to it. Thanks!

Question:
I just received the trigger spring kit for the Ruger LC9s and have not installed it yet. In a few of the reviews, people complained about a "mushy" trigger and/or light strikes/misfires. Can I replace the trigger return spring only? Or only replace the striker & striker block springs? However, logically it seams that any misfires are likely due to the lighter striker spring.

From what I've heard and seen? Yes. You won't use the striker block spring as the Max-9 has 2 but the striker spring and trigger return spring are compatible and produce the desired effect
