Thought a 3 oz hammer might be a little small for gunsmithing, but this one is just the right size. I like the nylon side for non marring blows. Has become the first hammer i reach for when working on guns. I like it, good quality.
Nice little gunsmithing hammer

Got tired of using my "mechanic" hammer from my box in the shop so bought this for gun use only. A good buy.
People buy the cheap chinese versions on ebay, amazon and harbor freight and think they save money. They don't.
Not only are they handing money to the communist chinese that helps support their military complex that we will one
day have to face, but chinese tools don't have anything near the longevity of American made tools. Buy American once instead of buying chinese 3 times. You're not spending more, you're saving more. FK China.

Perfect for working on pistols. Fast customer service and delivery. Made in America. You could get one on Amazon. No telling the quality but you can be sure it's from China.
excellent gunsmithing hammer

Exactly what I needed. Light weight but not so light as to have no impact on pins and other parts. Non-marring surface of the nylon side is excellent in protecting the finish on firearms if you need to get close to their finished surface. Highly recommended with a great price and fast shipping!

First time using such a light weight one on small arm compare to the ones I used on M230, M296 or the M234.
Performed well!

The head assembly is removable, but they have been secured with Loctite, so it will be difficult.
