I installed this trigger along with there spring kit in my Ruger lc carbine 10mm and it's one of the best trigger sets I have. I don't say that lightly. I highly recommend it
I recently purchased the trigger and trigger spring kit for my LC Carbine. The instruction video does not work for the 10mm or 45 ACP versions as the video is based on the 5.7x28 version and things are different. On the 10mm version the trigger bar is different and does not come off. You also do not need to remove the roll pin out of the safety lever or for that matter remove the safety at all during the installation. The safety spring is also different on the 10 mm compared to the video which is based on the 5.7 version. When I contacted customer service for help I was told that they had not really seen a 10 mm so they did not know for sure what the differences were on the install. Bottom line is the trigger "better", yes the pull is lighter though I cannot say the reset is any shorter. I have yet to shoot this after installing the springs / trigger last night so time will tell if anything is better or worse.
Got the trigger today and low and behold it was missing the pre-travel block. Not having this piece makes getting a adjustable trigger unless. Sent in a help email hoping they will send out a new set with the block. Anyone else have this happen. I have there triggers and springs on several of my Ruger pistols.
M Carbo’s trigger is a great improvement on the stock 10mm LC Carbine trigger. I installed both the trigger and spring kit and I am pleased to have a superior take-up and reset. Trigger weight is also reduced a bit. I haven’t measured it but it’s there. The only thing I can say to MCarbo is you should provide 10mm LC specific install instructions. I figured it out but it’s not my first rodeo. Thanks guys.
