Does this drop pull weight on the trigger???
I installed this along side the trigger spring upgrade. Easy Day!! works and feels great! thanks MCARBO for awesome install videos.
The difference between the Apex striker and this one is night and day, and I only regret waiting so long to purchase it for my FN 509. I now have zero trigger creep, a well-defined wall, and a very crisp break and reset. After the standard five-pull average and polishing, my trigger breaks at an average of 4.79 lbs using this striker, the included spring, and the striker block spring (I did not use the sear or disconnector springs from the trigger spring kit). I couldn’t be happier with the results. Great company, great products—I always use them for any projects I’m working on. Next up is replacing the Apex striker in my FNS-40 with this one!
I replaced my Apex Striker with the MCARBO Striker and I love it!
I had been running the apex heavy duty striker. I had also replaced all my springs with the mcarbo lighter springs except one. The combination of the light striker spring and the heavy striker was causing light strikes. Now with this titanium one I am able to run the light striker spring with no failures. If you want one of the best striker fired trigger pulls run the apex trigger and sear with mcarbo springs and striker. I have never came across a better feeling striker fired trigger pull. That says quite a bit because out of the box the 509s trigger is not good in comparison to most.
This plus the spring kit makes my 509T run like a cheetah hopped up on that booger sugar.
