My group size dropped from 2.13" (40 5-shot groups @ 7 yds) down to 1.69" (30 5-shot groups @ 7 yds). Trigger pull is between 3.5 and 4 lbs. Trigger pull is short compared to original and reset is quick. I am really satisfied with the performance bundle. Install is easy if you follow along with the video. It does have a short break-in period. I had three light primer strikes in the first 60 rounds, but zero in the next 100.
awesome kit,my hellcat pro factory was a little over 7lds after the install and a little polishing i'm at 4 to 4.5lbs what a difference and the adjustable trigger is sweet, great install vids and made in the USA what else can i say
I ordered 2 other brand triggers for my hellcat before ordering this one! Hated them both. I finally bought this one and I couldn’t be happier. Perfect fit and perfect feel. Makes a significant difference. In my case, my trigger went from an average of 7lbs 14ozs down to and average of 4lbs, 5oz. Which is amazing, and astronomically more comfortable. You won't regret this total upgrade.
After much research I decided to go with the whole ball of wax here at MCARBO for my EDC Hellcat. The video on installation made my decision to go with MCARBO easy. And when it came time to install...again the video was spot on! The video took all the apprehension out of disassembling my gun to the point where I could install everything and put it back together correctly. Well it was exactly that. Absolutely no issues. I am all assembled and ready to go shooting! I love the feel of this trigger. I was pulling my shots a little to the left due to the 7lb trigger. All my other guns are around 4.5 to about 5lbs so this one was just throwing me a little off. When I was checking it out going through some exercises I could feel the trigger felt so much better than the decent trigger from the factory it came with. Then I check the reset!!! WOW!!! that blew my mind!!! The reset is 200% better than the factory reset! Every part that came in the kit was in perfect order. Everything came together perfectly. And the shipping time was super fast! Ordered on a Monday and got it by the end of the week! Thank you so much for the wonderful products. You have helped me complete two guns now! Overall the product was satisfactory and reduced my trigger pull down to a crisper 4.5lb pull with a slight rolling break along replacing the factory striker and plastic sleeve. Very satisfied with that, but when I first installed this kit my trigger would fail to reset once or twice each magazine. I emailed their help line once, then called twice and was never able to get someone from support to speak to me, call me back or email me as to why this was happening. So after doing some research myself and talking with a local gun shop, we determined that the new sear spring was likely to light. Once I reinstalled the factory sear spring the trigger would no longer fail to reset, also it did not seem to effect the trigger weight or pull from the Mcarbo sear spring. So mixed review, I am happy with the end result now that I fixed my initial problem, but very disappointed in the lack of customer service and having to diagnose/fix the issue myself and replace the sear spring they provided in the kit.

I’ve installed the kit on my Hellcat so know I’m waiting to hit the range so I can adjust the trigger travel. So far it looks and feels solid and reliable. The trigger has an amazing quality. The factory trigger its flimsy, and according to YouTube, it has some problem if you push it sideways. I could never make mine to have the same issues as other owners on YouTube complaining of the quality of the trigger but I’m glad I upgraded it. Solid built and has no side to side wiggle like the factory triggers. Best decision I’ve made on top of getting the Hellcat!!
Wow!! The difference between the factory springs and this kit it’s like night and day!! Smooth, crisp and light trigger pull… not too light that it would get engaged by putting ur dick beaters on it under a stressful situation!! Highly recommend fellars!
Easy to install. Love the reduced trigger pull. Glad to get the plastic out of the gun. I just followed along with the video and everything went together easily and fairly quick. This is the 2nd gun I`ve "Mcarboed", and I`ve been very pleased.
It's encouraging to find a company like MCARBO that manufactures products in the US by US citizens. Employing veterans deserves and extra star. What's even better than the performance trigger kit upgrade is the step-by-step instruction video for replacing the OEM parts. I've never disassembled a pistol down to this level, but the video gave me the courage and confidence to do this myself. I was able to make the modifications with no issues, whatsoever. After the upgrade, the normal trigger pull went from 6.5 lbs. to a solid smooth 4.0 lbs. Thank you MCARBO staff.
I INSALLED THIS TRIGGER KIT A WEEK AGO AND I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DONE ... The Improved performance is amazing my groups went from 2 to 3 inches down to hole for hole. The trigger pull is like night and day no more creep a supper crisp trigger pull an amazing trigger break !!! And no more primer smir..... Thanks MCARBO!!
Ok let me start off with it's still striker fired. But I took off 2 pounds from my original trigger to this one. I use to be a Glock guy I was young and stupid. I thought Sig was great until I had the reason the M17 has stopped being made and the M18 is now in the military happen to me. The Hellcat so far was my favorite without issues my only concern was trigger pull always seemed way to heavy for no reason and the firing sleeve is a joke bad part to make cheap. This setup fixes all of that in one kit. Take your time adjust the over travel with some extra movement at first you can adjust it when installed just need to pull the trigger and you will have access to the set screw. There are videos online on how to do it but if your worried get a hold of a good gunsmith to put it in for you. This kit no joke fixes everyone of the minor issues that could pop up in one step I have over 500 rounds through it already no light strikes everything works great I believe there was a change in the springs for the pin and I have a new one so far 100% honestly didn't expect it. Great product.
I spent a lot of time looking at the Apex and M*Carbo triggers for the Hellcat Pro. I decided it was worth spending the extra money to get the Titanium Striker and the flat, metal trigger. I followed the great video and the install went smoothly. I did polish the trigger bar too. The trigger pull is now about 4 pounds, 5 ounces down from the factory 7 pounds. But, that is only part of the story, the trigger is more comfortable, has less take-up, and a crisper break. The stock break was quite long. I just got back from the range and the gun was so much easier to shoot and I shot it very accurately. In fact for a small gun, it is very accurate and you no longer get off target due to the heavy, stock trigger. I also was quite happy to replace the plastic sleeve on the striker. The M*Carbo striker replaces the plastic sleeve with a Titanium one. The kit is fantastic! Would not of kept the Hellcat pro if I could not change the trigger. It is a fantastic gun and a great carry gun, it just had an unacceptable trigger.
Easy Peasy install after reviewing the video mod process on YouTube. Total time to complete the install is about an 1 1/2 hours which included a trip to Harbor Freight for Theadlock 222. I didn't have the gauge to measure trigger pull before and after but it was definitely less than stock. Rounds down range: Much improvement on accuracy on my part which is probably due to the lighter trigger pull effort. Nice upgrade for the HellCatPro.
just received it from a months long backorder from Thanksgiving. The video instructions were great ,made the job easy. I followed the instructions by backing out trigger bolt about a little over 1 full turn. but ended up adjusting to about 1/2 a turn for shorter break. I am 100% satisfied with this kit and would recommend this upgrade
