Installed as video showed would not reset trigger made adjustments as told still would not reset. Ask for refund 3 times no reply
Great trigger. Easy to install and what a difference. I hated the trigger that came with the SCCY. Now I really like what mcarbo came up with to improve the weakest link of the pistol.👍👍👍
I really love the feel of this trigger, now that it is installed. Installation is not a problem if your hands don't shake like mine (like a leaf in the wind....) I didn't give it 5 starts only because of the confusion of finding the right length screws for the front and rear of the trigger; the instructions detail this for you, but it is a little bit of a pain. After adjusting the trigger screws I found that the trigger felt very good, even felt a bit (maybe 1/2 to 1 lb) lighter, and the movement was consistent with no stacking. Overall it is very much worth the installation.
Very easy install. The one thing that the video did not cover was the care needed when re-installing the frame pins to not let the safety detent pin (on the models with an external safety) fall out. Mine did and I did not fully notice, until a considerable while later in the day. The pin showed up in an odd place near where I had done the work. I reinstalled it without issue and it worked fine (wondered immediately afterward why the safety felt a little vague moving it between the two functions) both on final inspection, and at the range. Trigger is markedly improved. Feels and functions significantly better than stock.
I like the shape of the trigger but I can't get any adjustments pre or post travel.. it's good looking trigger though. I think between installing it and the spring kit they worked well together. Also I wish the videos yall had were one with a CPX-3 but everything was 1 or 2
I ordered and installed two spring and trigger kits, one in my SCCY CPX 2 and one in my daughters CPX1. If you need the videos even as a reference, they are great. They don't assume you know which way the trigger bar faces or have dark lighting during that intricate part. Heck, they even have one part where Chris does the same thing we all do, makes a small mistake. Daughter was pleased, the spring & trigger kit reduced the take-up to less than my wife's Glock and the pull went down to 4.9 pounds. Great product, great customer service.
