This trigger and striker kit is top notch. it was easy to install, thanks to the video and I could not have expected a better outcome. It is smoother, light pull by 35% . The new CNC striker housing was an added benefit and will avoid a future failure. I just ordered the trigger upgrade and fully anticipate the same quality and attention to detail. It is great dealing with a Vet owned company that provides quality products. Keep up the great work.
From professional to beginner review all information before installing kit. I found the video to be very professional and lighting was perfect to see all operations clearly. This kit was very easy to install and operation really improved the performance of the gun. I happen to have the manual safety (which is not provided by instruction or video) which was not difficult to deal with, just be aware of the spring and clip and spring pin holding safety together as it is a 2 part safety. I am 100% satisfied with the kit, instillation instructions and video and end reslult.
Worth the cost. Improved trigger pull from 5.5lbs to 4lbs. Action is much smoother than the OEM trigger and springs. I also followed Chris's recommendation on polishing and then polished some more. I actually polished inside the firing pin housing as both the stock sleeve and new stainless sleeve seemed gritty and draggy. I also polished both sides of the sear. Seemed to make a difference in how smooth the trigger felt. Area for Improvement: I challenge Chris to get a video out on the trigger replacement. Your videos are a big help and one of the main reasons I purchase from Mcarbo. It was fairly straightforward after Tech Support gave me some info. I'll include that here in case anyone else is interested. Trigger Install Guidance From MCarbo Tech Support: With the trigger and trigger bar sitting in the trigger tool push the trigger bar all the way up. Then insert and begin rotating the set screw. Once you feel the screw make contact with the trigger bar, give one or two more rotations. Install the trigger assembly back into the firearm and test the trigger pull. if you want to get rid of a little more take the trigger assembly back out of the firearm and twist the set screw 1 or 2 more times. Repeat this process until you are satisfied with the amount of pre-travel. Note: If the safety blade starts to hit the frame when you pull the trigger then set screw is too far in and needs to be backed out more. Trigger safety is designed to stop the trigger from being pulled Right Before the trigger bar interacts with the safety plunger. It always needs two forms of safety engagement.

I originally bought this kit with the sole intent of only using the striker sleeve. The sleeve is of amazing quality, and disappointed that Springfield would omit something like this from the Hellcat. To be perfectly honest I am still on the fence regarding the included springs. I installed the two replacement springs to feel the difference, and was slightly disappointed I did not notice more of a reduction in trigger pull as shown in their video. Installation was a breeze with any level of firearm disassembly experience. I would definitely recommend just on the striker sleeve alone, and leave it to the discretion of the end user on the usefulness of the included springs.
It's a great upgrade and just as easy to install as the video shows. I highly recommend this spring and sleeve kit, you will be impressed.
Purchased the spring kit with stainless steel striker sleeve and was easy to install with the online video's. My trigger went from 4-5 lbs. to 3-4 lbs. so not that noticeable but it did drop.
The m-carbo trigger spring kit worked wonders on my Hellcat pistol. It shaved about 2 lb off the trigger pull weight and got it exactly where I wanted it. It also gives a more predictable crisp clean break over the Hellcat factory springs. I very much recommend it. I like to say that it healed my trigger.
First off I work on firearms but this is very easy and the video is very helpful. My Factory set trigger was just over 6lbs after the installation I was just under 4lbs great product ! Got this in the mail yesterday along with a new trigger and other upgrades. I was very disappointed in the plastic sleeve that came in the striker and was very pleased to see the replacement. Nice strong material and the springs are solid. Side by side you can tell a difference. I was extra pleased with the takedown and installation video that shows every single part and component in great detail. Clean and straight to the point, no extra fluff. Nicely done. And also as an army veteran myself, I will definitely purchase and support this organization.
I purchased my Hellcat a year ago and it had the worse trigger pull I ever experienced. It was 8.2 lbs, gritty, with a bad reset. Bought it for concealed carry. Put 500 rounds thru it and wasn't confident in its performance. Bought the Mcarbo trigger spring kit. Installation was quick and effortless as I had my laptop in front of me and followed the step by step tutorial/ installation instructions. Looked intimidating at first but really wasn't. (And yes the striker sleeve was cracked). Easily replaced OEM parts with Mcarbo parts (you could definitely see the difference in quality) and polished recommended components. Trigger pull was reduced to a crisp 3.9 lbs., smooth as silk, with a crisp audible reset. Now I enjoy shooting my Hellcat and confident enough in its performance to use it as my primary carry gun.
This trigger kit (and M*Carbo trigger) turned an otherwise unshootable gun into an absolute dream on the range. I could not be happier. The install video was above and beyond anything provided by any other component manufacturer. M*Carbo has earned my repeat business.
With the Hellcat being such a slim, light, short weapon system, you need every advantage to make the shot as clean and easy as possible. This kit is absolutely the best bang for your buck. MCARBO constantly pumps out great products and they have great installation videos to guide you the whole way. The feel is immensely improved as the pull is much more consistent and lightened but not the point where it’s a hair trigger. Reset is still strong and audible. I can’t think of a single down side this.
I have had my Hellcat for over a year now and every time I go to the range I wonder if there is a upgrade kit that I could purchase to reduce the trigger pull on this gun. Well, to my surprise I found a Springfield Hellcat Trigger Pull kit from MCARBO.COM. Within days I received my new upgrade kit and my new straight trigger (yes I purchased the trigger too). I immediately watched the video and began the replacement process - very easy and straight forward. THIS IS A QUALITY KIT!!! WOW - what a difference.
