Recently I talked this kit on my Hellcat OSP with the manual safety. The available video doesn't address the manual safety. I was able to figure it out ànyway. A new video for people without experience would be beneficial. After several hundred rounds the trigger was high 7 lbs. and after installation it is lower 4 lbs. and crisp. I may upgrade the trigger later but the reduced pull has increased accuracy.
Prior to installing this spring kit and stainless steel striker sleeve I had already upgraded my Hellcat trigger to the Hyve Monarch; mainly to reduce the pre-travel. On my pistol this increased the trigger pull force by about 8 ounces over the OEM trigger's, to 6 lb, 12 oz. With the M-Carbo springs installed the trigger pull dropped to 4 lb 10 oz. I also polished the internal surfaces suggested in M-Carbo's installation video. I really love the results with both the Hyve trigger and the M-Carbo springs. Installation was easy after watching the instructional video. Thanks to M-Carbo for a good product and great customer support.
While I appreciate and respect the work done by Mcarbo, this was an extremely underwhelming upgrade. I installed this kit and the Mcarbo trigger. The result is barely noticeable except if you maybe have another stock Hellcat to do a side by side comparison. My digital gauge didn’t even report a 1 lb reduction and in case you are wondering, I definitely did not make the mistake of reinstalling one of the old springs. This kit plus the trigger cost around $130 combined, even if it was $50, I would consider it not worth it based on the lack luster results. Sorry Mcarbo. I still have faith in you guys, just not on this particular spring kit or trigger upgrade.
I really wanted this to work but after putting in the lighter striker spring I get a lot of light primer strikes and I never got this prior to putting the spring I have contacted them about this but I have got no response very disappointed
The first 50 rounds were just fine. That was all I had time for that day. The next time I fired it was at a shooting class few weeks later. I started having light strike failures after the second magazine. Once it started occurring, it happened at least one round every single magazine. I was using stock magazines that came with the weapon. I just magazines, and changed ammunition brands, and was still having the same problems with the same frequency. When the failed rounds were put back into the magazine, they fired just fine the second time through. I never had this issue before I had the springs replaced, and the springs were replaced by one of the best gunsmiths in the area. I've had the weapons since September of 2021. When I called in to discuss the issue, they sent a replacement spring but instead of sending the striker spring, they sent the striker block spring. So now I'm waiting for what will hopefully be the right part. Fingers crossed it fixes the issue. If it doesn't, since there is a no refund policy, I may just eat the cost of the springs as well as the additional labor cost to have my gunsmith put the stock springs back in. I don't want to have an unreliable weapon.

I recently installed this kit on my Hellcat micro, and it's made a noticeable difference. One of the first things I noticed when picking up my Hellcat was how heavy the trigger was and after about firing 500 rounds or so, it has not gotten any better. I was shooting low right (I'm a lefty) a lot since I felt a need to squeeze to actually fire the gun. I do not have a trigger weight measuring tool but my guess is it was around 7-8 lbs. After getting fed up with it, I searched online and found this kit and read the good reviews about it. I was a bit nervous about installing it myself, but the video tutorial made it very easy to follow along and wasn't difficult at all. Once completed, I dry fired a bunch and it was noticeably lighter than before. I took it to the range today and found it much easier to shoot accurately. Thank you so much M Carbo!
High quality parts and noticeable improvement. You won't regret ordering these parts. Easy to install if you follow the outstanding video instruction. Big difference in trigger feel and reset. I now have a trigger pull of approx. 4 lbs. I now have the flat trigger on order and can't wait to install it!
I watched the video before & during installation, & had no trouble installing this spring kit myself, having never fully disassembled a firearm before. I HATED the trigger beforehand - it was too long & too stiff. I installed this along with a Hyve curved, adjustable trigger, & now I don't hate shooting this little pistol! I highly recommend this.
Installation video was greatly appreciated. My hellcat is greatly improved. Trigger pull is now 5 to 5 1/2 instead of 6 1/2 pound
The trigger pull weight was reduced by about 15% rather than 30% as I was expecting. It's better than the stock trigger, but I'll likely need to do some polishing to get a pull weight of 4-5 lbs where I like it.
Butter smooth trigger pull. Every single pull is predictable, BUT takes a few cycles to break in. I would definitely recommend the flat trigger as well.
Having had to install kits from other vendors that there is no MCARBO option for is always more difficult due to lack of videos. MCARBO rocks, results were as promised. Small guns like this are great for carry but bad for groupings (if you have big hands and apparently poor trigger control) and this lighter trigger has made up for my shortcomings. Excellent kit, watched the video prior to purchase, then did an install from memory in under 20 minutes.
Easy installation, excellent video instructions. Parts are top notch and fit perfectly.
Installed spring kit with striker sleeve and trigger. Passed on polishing to keep it best for EDC. As usual video was most helpful but get one out on the trigger. Overall result met my expectations….lighter and smoother
