After a conversation with Mike (armorer), he personally recovered my order, replaced the trigger and trigger spring kit, polished engagement surfaces, and test fired the weapon. Found the trigger defective, replaced with another and test fired again to his satisfaction. I received my Helcat 2 days later and it is a totally different weapon.. I am extremely happy with his service and highly recommend this fine organization.
They shipped my order out promptly and received it a day earlier than expected. I use the instructional videos for the installation. I took it to the range the next day to give it a test. Everything went flawlessly. Thank you for a great product and service.
My new Hellcat trigger didn't feel too bad out of the box, but it wasn't super smooth. A few hundred rounds and thousand or so dry-fires and it was smoother, but still 7.75# avg. In comes M-Carbo! The trigger kit install was easy and straight forward. I really like the stainless striker sleeve as well. A few minutes of polishing and getting things back together and we now have a 5.5 - 6# trigger that feels great!

I purchased the spring kit with stainless steel striker sleeve for my hellcat. It was easy to install and made a incredible difference in trigger pull weight! I'm extremely happy with this product

I was hesitant on going into the Hellcat and changing springs/tension/components. However, this is my favorite upgrade I've done to my hellcat! Combined with the upgraded Aluminum trigger also from MCarbo, it changed the gun! Light, crisp, clean break and firm follow up only helps with accuracy and follow up shots. Video instruction on installation makes it to where even a novice gunsmith can do the work with ease. Great job!
The installation video is excellent, easy to follow and well explained. The result was a huge improvement. Much smoother trigger pull, makes the pistol more fun to shoot. Additionally, with a short sight radius, the easier trigger pull helps me keep the gun more stable and therefore makes my shooting more accurate.
I bought this kit for the improved trigger pull. I was looking for upgrades for my hellcat on youtube and I watched the M Carbo install video before I even bought the kit. After watching the video I knew I wanted the kit just for the stainless steel striker sleeve. 1. Watch the video before and during the install. This is the most important thing I can stress. It will help you more than you know. 2. If you have a manual safety then make sure you watch another video on how to deal with that part of the disassembly. The M Carbo video doesn't cover Hellcats with manual safety so do your research. 3. Buy a good punch or punches. I only used a 1/16th punch for the entire process but my gun was new so others may need a bit larger punch. 4. When installing the sear spring, I tried to follow the video but it was difficult. Instead I left the trigger bar out and just used the sear and gravity to align the pin with the new sear spring, then pushed the sear into position and installed the trigger bar. Seemed easier for me but others may like the process in the video. After installation the overall trigger performance was noticeably improved. I would recommend this kit to anyone looking for their first Hellcat mod. I will likely get the aluminum trigger kit as well because if the quality is as good as the striker sleeve then I am sure it's going to be worth the money for the new trigger.
This combo is a must if you own a hellcat. This makes day and night difference for the hellcat's trigger pull. Do your hellcat a favor, buy this kit for upgrade!
When I first shot my Hellcat, I was impressed EXCEPT for the trigger. I debated whether it was worth messing with or not and this kit seemed to be the perfect fix. In addition, the stainless steel striker would correct a serious potential problem that I had previously been unaware of. Installation was a breeze using the excellent video instructions and now that pistol is lights out shooter! Thanks to Mcarbo for your outstanding product!
This trigger upgrade is a must have for your Hellcat. Major reduction in the trigger pull that is way too heavy from new especially for women (my wife loves it as it was for her pistol). Also eliminates the fragile plastic striker sleeve. Total install time was less than an hour.

Very good video explaining how to install Hellcat trigger kit, took me about an hour going slowly and the end result is nice. Don't have a trigger poundage gauge but just guessing it took about 3 lbs. off the trigger pull.
