Bent my recoil spring while reinstalling. Searched, found M*Carbo, ordered, and in just a few days I had my part. Very much appreciated the quality service and prompt receipt of my spring! Thanks!

I know it is just a simple spring, but it it is a pretty damn important one!

This buffer spring appears to have been made to the exact specifications as the originals. Of course, this means that getting it without having the receiver braced so you can use bothhands is a real pain in you fourth point of contact--but it IS possible.

I am not sure how the previous owner crimped and bent the original buffer spring, but with this new one I am sure my grandson will get thousands of more rounds of joy out of the rifle.

Factory recoil spring worked fine. Kinda tough to get installed but I did. Shipping was fast but USPS delivery was not. It took 7 days after shipping to get the spring. Not Mcarbos fault.

A weak Recoil Spring in your Marlin 60 may sneak up on you and ruin your day at the range. Just it happened to me. Took my Niece to the range to teach her to shoot and it was not a good experience for her or me.

I ordered this Recoil Spring as a replacement and now looking to order a Second as a backup in my gear bag.

Took my Marlin 60 back out to the range a few days later and it shoots like its brand new. Tested ‘3’ different Manufacturers 22 Cal. and all performed without any issues.

I purchased the Hyper replacement spring. It is an amazing difference to compare the two in hand and installation after cleaning. Hyper Out of stock? Just three weeks later I can only find this Stock replacement spring on Mcarbo. I would recommend picking this up for sure. All the other springs I purchased from Mcarbo worked perfectly. If you have a worn out stock spring or even fear the day when it will need replacement, get it. For the hyper spring, I did experience many failures with quality standard pressure CCI ammo. Switched to higher powered 1200 FPS and it worked perfectly on all types of ammunition, even bulk box stuff. If standard pressure is the ammo you prefer, then I am sure the standard spring would be for you. Look around, it seems only Mcarbo has the springs for Marlin 60 in the summer of 2021.

Good product fast shipping.

Replaced the recoil spring in my 1982 Model 60. Owned gun since new and fired many rounds over the years. Prior to this I did not know there was a different recoil spring for the modern hot loads but after replacing 2 buffers I found Mcarbo with the right stuff to update my .22. Great parts, great service, thanks.
