Seems like a quality replacement part & seems like it should make unintended mag ejection less of a problem. The addition of the assembly pin is a nice touch and makes the install really a breeze to get done.
Works great, my pmr fires every time I pull the trigger, and I'm not bumping the release and dropping the mag.
Great video showing all the steps made installation a snap. I was able to feed full 30 round mags with all sorts of bullet shapes with no issues. Pair this with the SS Feed Ramp and improve your PMR feed operation.

This install is best with a new Flat Trigger install, the two can be installed at once before you add the textured rubber grips ! Properly installed this upgrade makes your magazine lock in place securely and release more easily than the factory unit. Yes, tearing your gun apart is daunting, but watch Chris' video a couple times and follow with care and patience. You can do this and it will come back together a better pistol , more reliable.
It looks and functions exactly as advertised by MCarbo. Your mags WILL sit further up into the slide, and WILL feed better accordingly. Relatively easy install for another bump in reliability.

I recently received my PMR30 parts, stainless feed ramp, recoil spring kit and magazine release. First off, I am a machinist of 35 years and have also served a quality control/QA role at my current job. With that said, I was very impressed with your parts, service, and the videos provided on your site. Your team provides "the total package"! I haven't had a chance to fire my weapon since installing the parts but I can already tell you that my pistol feeds ammo that it would never have even made it past the feed ramp in the past. Please let your whole team know that you have a happy customer in North Dakota that will spread the word about MCARBO as much as possible.
Product and service are excellent
The PMR 30 was spitting back at the shooter and leaving lots of brass by the chamber. The new mag release lifted up enough that I ran a 30 rd mag through without any brass being left behind. Did it's job
The mag release was as described and fixed the feeding issue by holding the magazine up farther into the mag well.. Installation was easy even with my big fingers. Their video on youtube was very helpful.
My CMR-30 was having frequent (1 in 10) failures to feed where the bolt failed to strip the cartridge from the magazine. Pull trigger, hammer drops, no bang. Chamber was empty, cartridges were still in the magazine. This part raised the magazine just a bit higher and after 70 rounds, no failures. Caution, I have some after market base plates that slide onto the bottom of the mag. Those magazines will not seat into the mag well after this mod. But for me, reliability is much more important than enhancements.
I regret not getting the bundle to begin with. Like all of the products, perfect and instant improvement.
Installed enhanced magazine release with the stainless steel feed ramp. Together both products solved my feeding issues. I would highly recommend both products. The installation of the enhanced magazine release was quite easy. And be sure to watch the installation videos they were very helpful.
I installed magazine release on both my PMR and CMR and both make a big difference. No more FTF on the when you chamber the first round.
