I ordered this trigger kit and delivery was pretty fast. Installed it with the help of the YouTube videos. Results were amazing, specially the single action pull which is very light.
I upgraded my SP-01 after shooting my Shadow 2... Man what a difference MCARBO spring kit made... I was so happy with the performance that I ordered the upgrade for my CZ Shadow 2 also. I was not disappointed as it made a great shooting gun even better. I also added the floating trigger pin and it is very reliable and very accurate.
Installed the kit and it greatly helped the trigger feel. S/A is 1.5# and D/A is about 7# on my scales. I've installed several of these kits and all have been a nice upgrade for the money. The videos are a great help in showing exactly how to change the springs along with helpful hints.
Installed the spring kit and my trigger doesn't reset I have to manually pushed the trigger forward to reset. So I contacted mcarbo and got my replacement trigger return spring within a few days, after installing the trigger reset is working and it's very smooth.
Since I have decided that my CZ Shadow 2 is my favorite handgun, I ordered the trigger upgrades that come in the Shadow 2 kit, to include the floating trigger pin. Viewed Chris’s excellent video, based on the CZ 75, then went at it. When I was through, the trigger pulls were just over 50% reduced, with a smooth, quick and light 2 lb. 4 oz. single action pull. This is such a great value, and makes this gun exponentially better. I’m just getting started with this gun, and I’m glad I began the journey here, with a simple spring kit. Sky’s the limit now. You must get this kit if you love your CZ.

I was quite impressed with M*Carbo spring kit; the kit helped reduced my SA pull from 4# down to around 1.6#. You video was easy to follow and helped tremendously with my installation. Highly recommended!
I've purchased accessories from MCarbo before, so figured I would try the Shadow spring kit...roughly half the cost of some competitors. Installation was pretty straightforward with great video tutorials available. I had a question about hammer spring weight (wasn't listed), so I called MCarbo and the phone was actually answered by a human! An English-speaking human! (bonus), who answered my question (13.5 lb) . SA pull dropped from 3 lb 5 oz to 2 lb 4 oz with no other work done yet...polishing, etc., so a 33% improvement off an already low starting point. For $30 and 30 minutes you'd be hard pressed (no pun intended...) to get more performance out of an upgrade. Great product!
It took a perfect shooting pistol and made it even better. I didn't think it was possible to make a shadow 2 better, but it did. I will be ordering 1 for my p01.
The price is right and with the video's provided it was an easy install I don't have a pull gauge but can definitely feel the lighter trigger, I added this kit to my CZ 75 compact and now my shadow 2 it is fun to do the work yourself and see the results
For my personal pistol, this kit did not make a significant improvement. After the instal, it did reduce the double action by 1 lb. but did not change the single action. The single action on a Shadow 2 is pretty good from the factory. I kept the parts as spares.
I ordered this kit and the floating pin, given I wanted to changed the clothes out on my "Barbie Gun" and figured it was an opportune time for an upgrade. As shallow as it sounds I decided to try MCarbo solely based on a few reviews and Chris' Rockwell 50 statement of OVERKILL...hard as axe head. A la Tool Time grunt worthy. So...I changed things out with relative ease with some help from Chris' video on the CZ 75 and some others like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DS15MpW0B_c and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzkrcMFafd0 Between all these guys made it easy for a newbie like me to get the job done right. Check pull pic attached, I was amazed how light the pull got, so I checked and triple-checked and took the highest reading. Wicked reduction and still shoots fantastic. Only thing I dislike about the Shadow is the "adjustable" mag release button. As you can see, the new one is just sitting there, since for some reason they loctite /stake the screw for what is an adjustable screw that is butter soft. Great gun and easy to modify and work on.
REALLY FAST shipping, bought this set for a new SHADOW 2 optic ready. I wanted this trigger to match a 97B I have. I first installed the reduced trigger spring which made a big improvement but not as much as I wanted. Then I put the main spring and firing pin set in and achieved my goal of 2 3/4 -3 lbs. I have watched a lot of CZ install videos but yours are the best. RED DOTS and spring sets have brought the fun of shooting to a set of tired 70 year old eyes.
I would highly recommended this trigger kit before spending your hard earned money on other competitor's expensive trigger kit package, etc. It only took me less than 30mins and the result is ultra smooth trigger pull especially SA. For less than $20? You've nothing to loose and so much to gain.
After seeing reviews, and then watching video on install, went for it. Glad I did! Put this in a Shadow 2 Orange, and it did knock about 1.5lbs off both D/A and S/A pulls. The video was precise and to the point, made for easy exchange and rebuild. The video, price, and quality of springs - this is a no-brainer if your thinking about doing this upgrade.
