Great fit and is definitely less impact on receiver very noticeable when running suppressed. As always great service.
The unit’s construction is well designed. Installation was very easy. If you could make a retaining ring out of metal and include it with the unit, it would be the ultimate replacement available.
Got to the range today.... So my goal was testing the new prototype shock buffer and also installed the extra power recoil spring. Installation was easy. I ran 50rds of 115gr, 50rds of 124gr & 50rds of 147gr. The gun ran flawless, no malfunctions of any kind. Recoil was even less than before (very smooth). A nice improvement.
Ordered this as a prototype the day I got the email the construstiin and finish were fantastic felt recoil was improved feels alot better than the steel on steel after a few range days and over 3500 rounds later after cleaning I inspected the buffer and it is still in great condition no cracks chips or deformations must have for the PC carbine. Mcarbo always makes top notch products that will keep me coming back!

A noticeable difference with this buffer right from the get go. It's a precision fit, and takes a great deal of shock and vibration out of the receiver. Worth taking the time to upgrade.
Installed the new Shock Buffer on my Ruger PC Carbine 9mm, along with other parts (new spring, pins). Quite a difference in felt recoil and much better performance. Looking forward to more shooting. Great M*CARBO product.

Guys the part is absolutely great..! I had no problem putting it and the new clamp on. The only the is be careful of the spring ... It has alot of tension and needs to be respected..

Stock buffer was damaged. MCARBO replacement is the way to go. Improves felt recoil by absorbing impact while not being damaged like stock part.
Very seldom does a product deliver on its promise. The M-Carbo enhancements are the exception. I purchased the muzzle break, recoil pad, spring, and retainer for my PC9. Followed the “how to” videos and headed to “the range.” I was amazed at the cycling action, reduced recoil, and lower db. Others with me were equally impressed; including combat vet family member. Blew though several hundred rounds and it was only day one of our vacation! If you make only "one" enhancement to your PC9 add the recoil pad, spring, and retainer.
