This spring kit is by far the easiest and most economical way to improve your Mossberg slug gun. I did the install in about 10 mins and was able to sight in the next day, without a doubt an absolute must for a Mossberg 500 slug gun.

When I bought the mossberg maverick 88 I knew the trigger was horrible nearly a 9lb pull. So after watching a few video reviews on YouTube about mcarbo and what they had to offer I had to check it out what I found was a American owned business that truly a passion for its law enforcement and soldiers I knew I was ordering from the right company. They parts came super quick and great communication between both parties. Thanks doe for a great easy to install product. That 9lbs pull is now 4.75 lbs.
Video instructions are very good. Installation was a little tricky , but the results are fantastic. It's like a different gun! Highly recommend this mod. Awesome for $20!

This spring kit turned my typical Mossberg 500 trigger into a smooth crisp trigger. I was skeptical and I was wrong. This isn't my first rodeo with M CARBO trigger spring kits. I recently installed the new springs for my Mossberg 835 shotgun. I had a gunsmith perform a trigger job several years ago and the trigger still had a ton of creep and the pull was at 5 lbs. After the spring install, the trigger had very little creep and the trigger pull was at 4 lbs. This is just about perfect for my turkey gun. Great kit, easy instructions and super fast delivery.
Very happy with this kit. This is the first time I ever tried to rework/modify a shotgun trigger. This kit / and the instruction videos allowed me to do it. Excellent results. New life for my Old Mossberg 500.
Easy to install and works as advertised
The product is great, the installation video is very detailed and precise. Do note that one of the springs (for a part in the trigger group, not one of the mcarbo springs) is very different on the maverick 88 vs the 500. It takes a hot minute during reassembly to figure out where that spring goes cause it will disengage during the removal process and is difficult to see where it came from. All in all, not too much of a hurdle to overcome and a great product for your great gun.

I just installed this kit in a both my 20 and 12 gauge slug guns made a night and day difference. now both have a nice smooth trigger pull very similar to my Winchester sxm3, sxm2, Remington 700 and browning auto 5. I would recommend any one shooting Mossberg 500s to install this Kit in their fire arm! And thanks again to Chris for helping with my order After hours.
Set was easy to install after watching the installation video and seriously improved the trigger pull on my Maverick 88. Looking forward to installing a set of springs on my j frame next. Keep up the good work!
