I recently purchased the trigger spring kit and installation "tool" for my Mossberg 500. It arrived in a few days, installation was a breeze after watching the installation video online, and there was an immediate NOTICABLE difference in trigger break afterwards. Awesome

I installed these trigger spring kits in two older Mossbergs with Trap style stocks as I wanted a better trigger to use these guns effectively for that shooting discipline. Very easy install with the video and use of the install tool sold here as well. A definite reduction in pull weight and smoother trigger. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who owns a 500 model.

Started soft striking after having in the gun for a few years in the safe. I put this spring in so it would fire when I needed the weapon. Pretty disappointed that I haven't even shot it and it's soft stroking primers from being stored. No other springs in any of my other weapons has failed.
Whole process took less than 5 mins. Threw the springs in. Then tuned the set screw in the trigger to pull out most of the pretravel. Overall im impressed. It took a relatively heavy long travel trigger and turned it into something more on par with the jp I have in my ar. 4 ish lbs. No pretravel. Well see how it holds up long term. Hopefully no light primer strikes. A few friends are already running this setup and they have thousands of rounds through theirs, no problem.
The unit arrived in a timely fashion and was rolled up by Chris. The unit was very easy to install using the video provided by carbon. The results were better than advertised. I had a 11 pound trigger and after installation it was4.6. Made a big difference in accuracy for me. Would definitely buy other products from Chris and mcarbo

Installed in a jiffy dramatically reduced trigger pull
I did the spring upgrade in my Mossberg 500 in about 20 minutes. It was super helpful to have the video to go along with. I was so happy with the results i upgraded the springs in my Maverick 88. The Maverick was a bit tricky but again I am happy with the results.

quality of all things M CARBO is great. Most of all the videos for installation is second to none. As for this trigger spring upgrade I did not notice ANY discernible difference in pull weight or crispness of the break. I did get the tool recommended and was able to install without any issue. All-in-all a fun project but rather a superfluous upgrade.. for me.
Working on a Mossy 500a for multigun competition. The last thing needed was a decent trigger. This kit works! Not an easy install but the video made me decide to try and do it myself. Very happy with the end result! Did the spring kit and made the adjustment to the trigger take up. Works great and no safety issues!
I am a Master Gunsmith and just recently discovered this web site. I am also a veteran and was pleased to know that I was doing business with fellow veterans!!! I perform numerous trigger jobs on multiple firearm formats. On most firearms, one of the most consistent and safe improvements on trigger pull weights and smoothness is to modify the spring weights instead of grinding off coils of the existing springs. These guys nailed it. Great job!!! I have thousands of springs in stock but if MCARBO offer it already, I will definitely order from them. It saves me time from having to search for the correct combination of springs which in the end, saves my customers money.
