Great product. Very easy to install. The only test I did was a before and after trigger pull. Made a great difference. Will recommend this product to all my friends that have Mossbergs.
Just purchased and installed Mossberg Shotguns 500 / 835 & Maverick 88 Trigger Spring Kit. For $20, it made a world of difference with a much lighter trigger pull, was easy to install using the installation video on the MCARBO website, and I received it 2 or 3 days after I placed my order. I own 2 Mossberg 835s. I changed both of them to the new spring kit and it made a difference in trigger pull. One gun had a 8.1 lb pull b-4 changing and it dropped to to 6.14 lbs even though it feels lighter and the other had a 6.13 lb pull b-4 changing and it dropped to 5.12 after changing. I’m very happy with those changes.
I actually found this product by accident while surfing the net. After reading some reviews, I figured what the heck. The shipping was extremely fast, it came before I expected it to. I watched the video, and maybe 10 minutes later, I have a great trigger on my 835! This made all the difference in the world on my gun. The trigger is smooth and feels great! Thank you M Carbo for a great and very affordable product. I will be referring friends to buy this product. And, thanks for the decals included in the package .
Reduced trigger pull from 8.5 lbs to 6.5 lbs. With gasoline priced at 4.79 a gallon and the one hour drive to the nearest gunsmith and 35.00 dollars for the installation and price of the spring kit. Not worth the the end result.
I'm a rookie hunter and my hunting mentor suggested a lighter trigger might help get shots off a fraction of a second sooner. That's a big deal when you're hunting pheasant and chukar. I saw the TFB TV review of the Maverick 88 on Youtube and one of the upgrades they made was the trigger pull reduction spring kit from MCARBO. I watched MCARBO's how to video and was able to remove and replace the two springs in about 25 minutes. The trigger pull feels much lighter. Can't wait to get this in the field and shoot some birds.

I bought this mossberg spring kit to reduce trigger spring weight and it works good just be careful when installing the trigger that the trigger spring doesn't get caught in the hole for the transfer bar when you pull the trigger after reassembly it will bend the spring and it can't really be straightened out after that and you will have to replace it. it happened to me I haven't replaced my spring yet but will have to order a new one soon it's hard to see it in there when putting it together so be careful.
All I can speak of so far is the timely delivery and the installation video. Easy to follow video. Definitely buy the wooden install tool. Did two shotguns at the same time and the second was literally a 10 minute process. Looking for better weather soon to get out and try it.
Already got the springs installed. No issues with the installation, and they seem to have improved the trigger greatly. Highly recommend!
I installed this kit (trigger springs) in my Mossberg 500 shotgun. Reduced trigger pull by almost 50%. The Mossberg trigger group is extremely difficult to reassemble, but MCarbo has a fantastic video detailing each & every step of the way. I am very glad i bought this kit. In addition, MCarbo’s customer care is the best ive ever experienced. Sent emails to me immediately notifying me of my shipment, the another email asking if inreceived my products on time. I appreciate doing business with a Military veteran owned company. If you own a Mossberg, buy this kit!
Installed the new springs in the trigger action and thought it was a new gun the trigger was half the pull weight easily, wish I found this company earlier.The products and service are great,keep it up.
