totally satisfied with results, pull is much better than the factory setup. i don't do a lot of gun work myself, but i didn't have to much problem installing the kit thanks to the video....straight shooting to all !!
I purchased the trigger spring kit. I found it very easy to install. My trigger pull was 8.5 lbs before installing the kit and the trigger pull dropped to 5.5 lbs after installation. I am very pleased with the results. Great product and company. From army Vietnam vet 196 light infantry brigade from 1966 to 1967.
I installed two of these kits - one on a 12 gauge and one on a 20 gauge. In both cases the stock trigger pull was at 6 1/2 pounds. After installing the new springs both trigger pulls were a shade under 5 pounds. This was an inexpensive/easy way to make a noticeable improvement in trigger pull -would definitely recommend!
Purchased and installed the Trigger Spring Kit and the results were impressive. 6 lb 8 oz trigger pull to 4 lb 6 oz pull. Only caution is to watch the trigger return spring like a hawk during reassembly as it easily grows wings and disappears. MCARBO customer service is the best.
The kit came as advertised and the order was received very quickly. I installed the spring kit with the assistance of the "how to" voide which was incredibly helpful and gave me the confidence to tackle this on my own. I have not had a chance to fire the gun with the new springs but if the dry fire test is any indication of improvement, I'm going to be VERY happy with this. M CARBO has been very helpful and cares about customer satisfaction. Don't hesitate to order what you need from them!
My daughter did not like the trigger on her shotgun so I installed the MCARBO spring kit in her Mossberg 500. The trigger now has a much better feel to her and her shooting has improved on the skeet range. I do not have a scale, but the trigger pull weight was significantly reduced. The better trigger is well worth the price of this kit!
The factory trigger on my 500 was horrible. I installed one of these kits and wow what a difference. I am thinking of putting them in my Remington 870's.
Thanks for the great product. This kit is simple to install and takes a cheap shotgun and improves it tremendously. It's still not a custom trigger, but for a slug gun, it is a lot better.
Installed trigger kit in about 15 minutes. I could barely pull the original trigger. Now there is no creep and the trigger breaks easy (about half the pull it was) and smooth.
Fairly easy installation. The upgrade is a great upgrade over the stock heavy trigger and turned my son's youth 500 into a turkey slayer. He took his first NC bird with the gun Sat morning and we couldn't be happier! Thanks for a great product.
Installed the kit following the MCARBO YouTube instruction video. Install went smoothly. Reduced trigger pull by 3+ pounds. Works great. Light crisp trigger. Perform various drop and shock tests for safety (unloaded of course) - no unintended release of the hammer. Results in a much better trigger than stock, but still very safe. Would recommend.
Great product- shaved 2lbs. off my trigger according to my $3 fish scale from walmart. What a difference- im sure it will tighten groups when running slugs downrange.
This spring set gives a very smooth and crisp trigger break. I'm very happy with this spring set fast easy install with very good results. I highly recommend this trigger spring set.
Install was straight forward when following along with the video. Smoothness was not really increased but the braking weight was definitely lighter. Should allow for better shot groups. Highly recommend if you are looking for a lighter trigger in your 500.
I recently bought and installed the MCARBO spring kit for my Mossberg 500. The results of the change of the said springs is remarkable. The shotgun is a whole new animal, if you have this model, I recommend you buy and install the spring set. You will be glad you did! For the price of the spring set you get a whole different shotgun! I have request of MCARBO take a look at Bond Arms derringer triggers, they need help!
Purchased 2 kits and have installed 1 in an older early model 500 with great results. Trigger pull went from 7lbs 4oz. to 4lbs 7 oz. Easy to install, will install other kit in my son's 500 shortly.
