I purchased my grandson a Mossberg 500 Bantam 20G to begin turkey hunting in the spring. I have equipped it with a red dot sight and a turkey choke. It is going to be bad news for the turkeys in spring of 2019. My only concern was the trigger pull. It was so high(9.3#) that I at times thought I forgot to take the firearm off safe. I purchased the spring kit from M carbo. I have no gunsmithing experience but did the installation myself in less than 30 mins. The trigger pull now is 5.2#. What an improvement!

Spring kit dropped my trigger pull to 4.25#. I didn't get the shipping that I paid for.
Just installed the M-Carbo Mossberg 500 Trigger Spring Kit into my second Mossberg shotgun. I digitally tested trigger pull before installation at 9 lbs. After installation of the kit, tested at 4.4 lbs, with a much smoother trigger pull. Cannot speak too highly of the quality of the spring kit. Very fast delivery, and excellent customer service. I recommend the kit for any Mossberg owner. M-Carbo's installation / reassembly video helped me to reassemble the trigger group. Great step-by-step instructional. If you have a Mossberg 500 shotgun, BUY THIS KIT !!!
I took my eight-year-old son out for his first deer hunt with his Mossberg 500 20 gauge shotgun. We had a deer come in at 40 yards, my son put the Red Dot on the deers shoulder and pulled the trigger. The Mossberg did not go off due to the extremely hard trigger pull. He readjusted pulled again and this time the gun moved on the fieldpod it was rested in causing him to miss. After that hunt I purchased this kit and install the springs and the very next day my son harvested his first buck ever. The kit worked to perfection by reducing the trigger pull allowing my son to safely operate the shotgun and tag his first deer. I would recommend this to anyone
Made dramatic improvement to the trigger pull
This kit has made my Mossberg shotgun a pleasure to shoot. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, however, I'd guess in the neighborhood of 50% reduction in pull weight. Installation was a breeze using MCARBO's provided video, took no longer than 15 minutes. Beware of adjusting the slop out of the trigger, it can deem your safety mechanism inoperable. I patterned the shotgun and shot a few rounds of trap to function test, went bang on the first go, safety works, and zero malfunctions. In addition to the product being great, the MCARBO team is top notch. Customer service is spot on, its a breath of fresh air to deal with a company that cares about the products they sell and the customers they intend to keep. Very fast delivery and great quality parts. The install was a little trying with trigger spring, but with patience in all when to gether and made quit a difference in the trigger pull.
