Everything fit perfect with no difficulties at all. Noticed an improvement right away.
I didn't even check th factory pull or the aftermath of the install but it is a lot better than factory I used to check on other installs still do when it's not my gun to prove to the friend but if mcarbo makes a kit for a gun I purchase I buy it before the paperwork is processed in the store so I can install it asap.
The springs worked as promised, a much improved trigger. I really appreciated the installation video which made the job a snap. Well worth the few dollars spent.
I wanted a bit more crispness/break on the trigger f/a Maverick 88 aka Mossberg 500 1/2 brother! I cam across the video and decided to give your product a go. Installation was straight forward, no filing or any other relief. to the gun for the parts to go into for the trigger job. Tip: You will use the tool, but kind thought for the price of 2 springs, the wood stick should be apart of and not separate. The springs went right in, easy piezy. The springs are for sure a lot better making than the stock parts. The trigger went from stiff, snap to squeeze crisp break. Went from 7lb to 4 1/2.
Awesome springs. Want to make it better yet? Use a bigger trigger pin . Go to .1275 instead of the loose .125 they use. A number 30 drill will work great! Grind to length on Dremel. Takes the slop out on takeup for awesome break! And use a plastic cleaning loop jag to push in spring! The pin has room to start easy then , piece of cake . Now I have an awesome Mossy setup! Thanks
This trigger kit is by far the best upgrade that I have done to my shotgun it's worth every single penny I would have paid more for this upgrade
Installation was quick; from start to finish in under 10 minutes. Basically it took just as long as the installation video. I didn't measure the before or after, buts half the weight. Pretty sweet.

Worked like a dream, 500 had about a 10# trigger pull before install, 4# after installing the springs from MCARBO
So basically I got this spring kit from here and a gold trigger from another vendor for my Mossberg 500A. Backstory: the first time taking this gun down to clean in probably 20 years, this gun was recently inherited. It was manufactured in 1984 and I received it after non use for 20 years about a year ago. This is my first shotgun. My report: The trigger in my 500 was noticeably heavy prior to install. I installed this product myself, I have taken guns apart and built AR variants in the past. With a couple YouTube videos it can be done in a short period of time if you have taken this gun down before. I didn’t first time took the trigger group all the way down cleaned this gun and installed mcarbo goodies. Honestly they surpassed my expectations with this one. I’ve installed their kit on my ruger American I could tell a difference but this kit really sold me man. Good job y’all.

As a US Navy Submarine Veteran, I want to support your Veteran owned business. I bought this Trigger Spring Kit to reduce the trigger pull force on my Maverick 88. It arrived very quickly in very good condition. I watched your installation video several times to get a good understanding of the installation process. Then measured the Maverick trigger pull with a Wheeler spring gauge BEFORE installing the spring kit at average (3 pull average) of 7.67 lbs...... After installing the spring kit, I measured trigger pull average (3 pulls) at 5.60 lbs...... Although an improvement, this was not as good as I expected based on your video results (~40+%) ...... So I removed the springs and then reinstalled them a second time. Then measured the trigger pull at an average (3 pulls) at 5.58 lbs ..... This was about a 27.2% improvement, but not the 40+ % that I expected based on your video...... Also the trigger assembly in the Maverick 88 is similar, but not as easily manipulated as your video. So I liked the 2 lb reduction that I achieved, but was a little disapppointed that it was less than I expected ......Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
Installed trigger spring kit to reduce trigger pull on Moss 500 20 ga super bantam. Factory trigger pull was about 6.5 lbs. Spring kit reduced pull to 4.75 lbs. Was hoping it would reduce to 4 lbs or less due to lighter than stated factory pull. Kit worked as described and improved “feel” of trigger pull. Smoother and not “gritty” as original. Breaks clean. Worthwhile improvement. Would recommend.
Replacement took about 30 minutes. Trigger assembly tool was well worth the $1.95, and made the spring replacement faster. Trigger pull was reduced by about 25%, from 6.5 lbs to just under 5 lbs. Very happy with the product. Fast shipping with plenty of updates on order shipping status

I ordered this kit and installed it very easily. I suggest you do what they say and get the installation tool. I put it in a mossberg 500 bantam turkey 20ga. It literally feels the same as the factory trigger pull. Save your money, not worth it in my opinion.
