Purchased this on a Friday and the following Monday it was in my mailbox... can’t get much better than that for shipping. I am already experienced with 509 disassembly so installation was easy, but it should be easy for anyone with firearm disassembly experience. Overall the kit reduced a little over a pound of pull weight and took away the awful spongy crunch the stock 509 trigger has. For 19.99 it’s a great upgrade.
Installed this on a 509 tac, reduced trigger weight, smoother shorter take up, shorter reset, great addition to the Apex trigger, turned this gun into a truly excellent shooter.
I installed this spring kit in my 3 FN 509 pistols myself and absolutely love the trigger pull now! I followed the MCARBO video for the first install and found it very informative and instilled confidence in me to strip the pistol down to and change springs. I installed the spring kit for my 509 minus the firing pin spring due to numerous reviews stating it was causing light primer strikes. All other springs were installed and "poof", the grit was gone. The trigger from what I can tell still feels a little heavy ( I don't have a trigger pull scale), so I can't give an accurate weight at this time. So I will probably install the firing pin spring to see how the gun functions. I still hate the FN trigger and will be upgrading that in the near future.
I love my .22 from fn so much that I needed a 9mm from them. So I ordered my new fn 509 cc edge xl . I was not disappointed at all untill I pulled the trigger back, I was starting to think I just wasted my money! Thank god for this trigger spring kit, I replaced every spring except for the sticker pin and now I’m shooting better very happy with this cheap upgrade. The installation video is easy to follow and only took me a half hour to change out the springs
Super easy install, just have to be patient and take your time. Having the installation video playing while performing the install makes it super simple.
Pretty easy to install watching the MCarBo YouTube video. Smoothed out my trigger press. Off to the range for live fire testing. Thanks MCarBo. Good stuff.
This spring kit paired with the Apex Enhanced Trigger Kit made both my guns just amazing. It took up the 5 mile take up and half the pull weight.
I put this in an FNS 9C. I guessed that since the involved internal parts are the same as the FN 509 this kit would work. The install was flawless following the instructional video. I have not fired the pistol yet, but every indication is that this will work just fine.
My friend installed this kit in my new FN 509 Tatical, checked the trigger before installing 7.17 pounds, followed the video and installed the new springs tested again now 4.14 pounds. What a difference, get one now you won't regret it.

The Fn509 trigger spring kit arrived quickly, definitely fast shipping which is awesome! The packaging was high quality and had stickers etc! I can say if it wasn’t for the instructional video , I’d still be trying to to figure out the installation ,so thank you guys for making the time to do a video!! The trigger pull has reduced drastically from an average of about 7.5 lbs to 4.5lbs and the reset is still excellent. I have full confidence with this as my every day carry. Have an FN509 Tactical with 1100 rds and the trigger want getting any better (7lbs). Ordered and installed the spring kit with your video and it really helped. Fat hands didn't help and the carrier spring went flying but I found it and the install was completed. Trigger pull went from 6lbs 9 0z down to 4 lbs 9 oz. Wow! Next I will install my Apex flatty for the finale. Cant wait to get shoot it.
