Took me about an hour to install this (first time I’ve ever done something like this). The help video was an incredible help .. couldn’t have done it without it. The trigger feels amazing. I installed this on my 509c Tactical — feels like a whole new gun.
I previously bought all the apex upgrades for my 509, and was not impressed with the trigger. The pull was still over 5lbs... I bought the mcarbo spring kit and my trigger pull is now 3.5 to 4lbs.. much better! Highly recommended!
Used this spring kit in an FNS40. Wow! Before and after, was a huge difference. Very easy installation. Followed Chris in the video. The only issue was the tiny sear spring. Chris must have the dexterity of a brain surgeon. After fumbling for a while I managed. Well worth the effort smoothed pull and reduced weight. My friend was impressed. Said the more we shot it the smoother and better it got (new pistol). This isn’t the first kit I’ve bought, and it won’t be the last! Keep up the great work!
I purchased this product for my FN 509 compact, because the trigger was terrible. Too heavy and very unpredictable. Product shipped within two days, which is awesome. The “how to install” video was absolutely awesome!! Took me about an hour to get the new spring kit installed. What an amazing difference. Nice smooth medium to light trigger pull every time. Worth every penny. I would definitely buy from this company again.
Was a little intimating, but with some help from the video, got it. Did reduce the trigger pull and overall made the gun fun to shoot.
Installed and tested this spring kit with a pull gage and on the range, it functions perfectly and greatly improved the 509.
So much better than the factory trigger. I’m ordering one now for my FN 509C. Thank you.
I recently purchased my FN 509 compact MRD and the trigger pull weight was exactly 7 pounds. Take up seems fine, not gritty like many reviews I have read suggested, but heavier than I like. I installed the MCarbo trigger spring kit following the installation video online. Installation was fairly easy with the video, and my trigger now breaks at just under 5 pounds. I've only fired about 50 rounds and since installing the spring kit, and no failures. Besides the spring kit, all other components are factory, including the trigger and striker.
Great kit. Installed easily with help of the video on their site and the right tools. Took my 509 from a factory 7.25# pull to 4.75# pull and seem to get rid of most of the creep that it had. Fast shipping also.
Followed the video on YouTube and it made the install pretty easy. I was nervous about doing it and figured worse case I'll take it to a gunsmith to finish it up. I bought wrong spring kit...my fault. M*CARBO quickly shipped me the correct kit. Excellent customer service!!
I bought the 509 spring kit to pair with my apex trigger in my 509t. Installation of the spring kit was fairly simple and with a quick video review if the sear housing anyone should be able to do the job. I have noticed a significant decrease in trigger pull weight compared to the stock 509 and some of the take up grit has gone as well. I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a lighter trigger pull and a better reset to their gun.

This kit reduced the trigger pull around 2lbs. I wish I could buy a new trigger from Mcarbo.
Recently bought this spring kit for my fn509c! Couldn't be more happy with it! What a difference it made in trigger pull and overall functionality of my gun! Installed the m-carbo spring kit along with the apex flat faced trigger assembly and brought my trigger pull weight down from 7.3 lbs to an impressive 3.5 lb trigger pull! Not to mention how much smoother it is! Also customer is 2nd to none! Thx to the team at m-carbo! You guys are great and will order from u guys over and over! I salute you! God bless!
After watching the video several times , so I wouldn't screw up. It was fairly Simple.. the Dreaded firing block ( pin) that is meant to STAY-- Actually Moved & easily came out ! but after Disassembly - Cleaning- Replacement Of all the Springs . I felt A little bit of Difference Mechanically - Will find out How It shoots once I get to the Range....
