MCARBO-the best thing to happen to the FN509. Watched the video, read reviews, made the order. If you have a FN509Tactical then you’re probably looking for something to do about the stiff gritty stock trigger. This is the cheapest and best fix out there. Period. Received quickly, easy install, surpassed expectations.

Recently installed my MCARBO spring kit on my Fn 509 and had it out at the range this past weekend! The install video was very detailed and easy to follow. I am very pleased with the trigger pull now! The kit made my new investment even more enjoyable, thank you!

Fast shipping, ordered it Tuesday and got it Saturday, installed the firing pin and striker block spring and you can already feel the difference, trigger pull is now lighter and smooth, gotta still have to find time and watch the videos some more before installing the disconnector and sear spring, i have very little knowledge about gunsmith, so far I got what i like, good quality, guys from MCARBO were awesome, they'll kept you updated with your order, highly recommended.

Installed this kit with apex trigger kit . It is a 4 pound trigger pull . which is great , but there is a “twang” at the end . Can you make a spring that doesn’t twang at the end or remedy this ?? Thanks

It's a 20$ spring kit not a fix all. It helps lighten the trigger pull for sure. I have only fired 100 rounds with this spring kit. Has a week return also kind of catchy. Worried about the longevity of these springs they seem kind of cheep. So far it's not bad but I would not say it's great ether.

I am amazed at how easy this was to install, follow the video and I was able to knock out 2 guns in no time at all. Best part both guns break at 4lbs on the dot. My 509T is brand new and my full size has a couple thousand rounds through it. Excited to hit the range and see the difference. Great product and excellent communication through the entire process. Can you guys make a crisper sear setup for these?

I've installed 2 kits with greatly improved pull regarding smoothness and reduction in weight. Over many months, I have checked the pull on all of the stock 509's my gun dealer has had in stock. Almost all never vary in the gritty, lousy feel from FN. One of the sales reps behind the counter packs a 509, and after trying mine, asked if I would install the kit on his gun. He's really impressed with the difference the kit made compared to what he had compared to stock. I will add that in addition to the spring kit, several further steps will help in smoothness. I wrapped a punch with 3000 grit paper and smoothed out the striker channel for any tiny burrs that might be present, polished the face of the striker until mirror smooth, and probably the most important part was polishing the firing pin block and lever that pushes the block in. I start with Mothers and continue with higher grits up to 10,000 with the Dremel and polishing bit. The top of most blocks have a disgusting cast area that should be removed until it is smooth as possible. Take a look at the block where the lever slides and you'll see it. I also polish the new striker spring that rides in the channel. Also be sure to do what Chris advises in his video and put some grease behind the trigger where it slides touching the frame. These combined steps should drastically improve your 509 or any other variant.

Installed the spring kit in my FN509 midsize. Cleaned up the take up, crisp break, and smoothed out the reset. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but I would say it cut the weight almost in half. The absolute best $20 I've ever spent on a firearm.

I installed this spring kit in my FN 509 Tactical. I think the trigger in my pistol was better than what most reviews stated but felt there was room for improvement. This kit certainly helped. While doing the upgrade, I also cleaned and polished a few rough surfaces, as well as cleaned and dried out the striker channel. The trigger is quite a bit smoother and lighter. The trigger pull is now 3#15oz. Nice.

Picked up my 2nd 509T. First thing to do was order the trigger kit. In stock form, it's just like the video. Gritty as hell. Installed the kit, added grease under the trigger shoe, and magic happens. Trigger is now smoother, no grit, and I haven't even fired it yet. I did polish ALL of the internal metal parts, striker, firing pin block, everything in sight that might cause any kind of friction. Total transformation with the M-Carbo kit and all the polishing. Best $20 you will spend for any of the 509's.

This kit dropped my trigger pull weight from 8.5-8.8lb to 4.5lbs. I couldn't believe how heavy the pull was in my 509 tactical. It wasnt bad until the wall then it felt like it was stuck. A knocked the sharp edge off the barrel lug polished parts and installed the Mcarbo kit which was very easy once you know where everything goes. Great kit if you want to keep your pistol factory-ish for carry

Just arrived this morning and I had watched the install video 3 times prior.

1/2 Hour and done! Make sure you have all of the tools and a little dab of good grease.

Trigger is way lighter and breaks like you'd think it should in a quality firearm.

8.2 down to a average 4.3 and this pistol remains unfired aside from the factory.

Buy It! If you are gonna carry this is the solution for you. Best 25 bucks I've spent in years!

Thanks for making something simple, inexpensive and here un the USA! OOH RAH!
