Fast shipping and good upgrade for my sd9ve. Easy to install, brought down my trigger pull to 4 pounds.
Let me preface this by telling you that I am a 69 yr old newbie to the gun world. I bought a SD9VE because it was less expensive than other models and I'm a cheap son of a gun. After experiencing other guy's handgun trigger pulls at the range, I knew why my SD9 was so modestly priced. I like to tinker so I ordered this spring kit from MCARBO because I like supporting our Vets. I struggled with the trigger pin alignment like some of the other guys who left reviews did , but I must say the results are worth it.
The brother patriots here have really improved my SD9. This was easy to install, well explained in the video, and above all works like a charm. God bless ya MCARBO and give em hell
Factory trigger was horrible gritty mushy and over 9lbs. But after a a 15min install and a little polishing of the striker block my sd9 is a joy to shoot. Just a little take up but not gritty or any lateral movement.. crisp break with absolutely no overtravel.. and quick reset with and average trigger pull of 4.7lbs .. very quick shipping too .. excellent design and the lil install guide pin was a genius move in my book!!

This changed the gun from one I was thinking of selling to one of my favorite guns to shoot. You cannot go wrong with this kit.
Watching install video made it easier to install big difference in trigger made it smoother an easier to hold to hold on target.Well worth the money.
This is the first pistol I purchased. Have had it almost 20years. Only drawback to the gun was the trigger pull. This kit absolutely fixed this. Can't wait to take it out and live fire. Easy instal, quick shipment! A+ guys. Keep up the great work!

The trigger pull is so bad on SD9 / SD40’s I really can’t believe Smith & Wesson hasn’t switched to these types of springs years ago. It is a well known an often discussed problem. There is an obvious and immediate difference in the triggers when these springs are installed. Smith & Wesson could make this change for their customers for pennies on the dollar but they won’t. It’s a lot to pay for these 3 springs, but this kit will improve the trigger pull. Although there are other options, the alignment “pin” is helpful too.
Got to the point that I didn’t even enjoy taking out my sd40ve, this spring kit and Galloway Precision’s sear spring added in, made it an entirely new gun. MCarbo’s install instructions made it easier than expected to install. I don’t recommend adding in a trigger itself, the spring kit alone makes a huge difference without worrying about having to test fit a trigger and possibly having to shave it to fit. Great product MCarbo!
This spring kit exceded my expectations. It was pretty easy to install (with youtube video for reference), and actually improved my aim (I noticed I was pulling low because of the long/hard stock trigger pull). I've always liked my SD40VE, but it is so much better after this install. The product and quick shipping were great, and the installation video was very professional and helpfull! Well done!

I must say the first that the change out was a easy. I did watch a video before and during the process which made it a quick switchover. Once completed I did some function checks and could get immediately feel the change in the trigger pull. I have not been to the range with the modification yet, however when I do you will see an update to this post or another review with my findings. Until then stay safe and strong brothers and sisters. I loved the gun when I bought it and enjoyed shooting it but I was in for a surprise. When I changed the trigger kit with the help of the video from mcarbo it's like a whole new gun. It is more responsive and just feels so much better.
