Before installing the mcarbo replacement sear spring to my trigger mechanism the pull was so hard that it was hard to stay on target. I don't have a pull gauge but it is a lot softer and easier now. Installation was easy, 5 minutes. Great price, delivery and excellent follow up service. Recommend it as a much needed upgrade to the c9

The spring i received was a bit longer than the stock one. So it really doesnt feel that much lighter. Other than that, it did arrive quickly without issue
Honestly my pistol trigger wasn’t terrible at around six pounds, but I was already ordering for my carbine so I bought this. Man it brought that trigger down to probably 3.5 pounds. It’s one of the better triggers of any of my pistols now. Glad I threw it in the cart!

I just installed the mcarbo spring for my Hi-Point 9mm pistol. I cannot believe how it improved the trigger. It was rough and never could feel when the hammer was about to drop. Now it's really smooth and increased accuracy 100% I've always been skittish about breaking the pistol down after reading some horror stories, one guy said it took him an hour to reassemble. Instructions were so detailed and the spring replacement went without a hitch!
I appreciate the video for changing the new springs in the C9 and it went smoothly for both pistols. Honestly, I haven't been to the indoor range yet to fully feel the difference, but I could tell the change in the trigger pull was lighter. I will g et to the range this coming week and test the trigger pull.
A must for this pistol. I believe I got more than a 40% reduction, but don't have a gauge. Very satisfied. One downside-price. It was a total of $18.00 for one teenie tiny spring with shipping. Pricey for a pistol I bought for under $150.00 new, percentage wise.
This trigger upgrade made my C9 Hi Point a joy to shoot! I also had to "re-learn" the pistol again, as this upgrade really changed the weapon for the best. Even though I'm experienced in disassembly, I can truly say the instructional video was direct, professional, & to the point on how perform this upgrade, & I'm VERY happy with the results! Significant difference. Prior to installation pulled 11lb 1oz and 11lb. After installation pulled 5lb .57oz and 6lb 1.0oz (w/Wheeler digital). The spring was easy to install in part because of the excellent how to video. M Carbo always satisfies.
Spring was very easy to install. It did what it says by reducing the trigger pull significantly. 5/5
Easy install for me. As advertised, the trigger pull was reduced by 50% on my Hi Point .40 JCP Original pull was 11.5lbs. I would recommend it highly. Now...if they can come up with a trigger linkage that reduces trigger travel. I'm thinking a flat ball and socket with opposing angle bends at the engagement, so the cam is lifted sooner and reduces trigger travel.
I'm not a gunsmith but with the video it went very well especially considering my age and other things. One little part can make a big difference but we know this based on our experience with units, teams, squads etc... The supporting e-mails and website contributed to my success also. My next challenge is to try the more complex SCCY CPX-2 trigger kit. Thank you all at M Carbo for your integrity and support.
So glad I found this quick fix to reduce trigger pull on my Hi-Point 40 S&W. Roughly inline with my expectations to reduce trigger pull by 60% (well any reduction would have been a win for me). Highly recommend for anyone looking to reduce their Hi-Point pistol trigger pull. Just make sure your model is addressed by this fix.
