Works great, quick and easy to install. Put a 100+ rounds thru it yesterday I am totally satisfied.
Installation was easy but the spring didn't make a significant difference in effort required. IMO it is more a matter of friction on the trigger mechanism.
Installed the spring and an aluminum trigger at the same time, great upgrade for the C9
Very easy install, exactly as the instruction video shows. Reduced the trigger pull by about half, and is smoother now. A smile, effective fix, cheap too.
I'm so happy to have run across this, it was so simple to change the spring and improved the trigger response quite a bit. Didn't know how awful my trigger was. By the way it's still a weird trigger but 5 lbs less now.
This was by far the best upgrade I could have made for the excruciating trigger pull on my Hi Point C9. I have no idea why Hi Point produces their pistols with a 10 lb trigger pull. I'm very satisfied with this product and Mcarbo service.
Awesome little mod it changes the feel of the trigger completely shooting a completely different gun my wife loved it way better shooting
Recently purchased the spring upgrade kits for my new Hi Point C9 and 995 carbine. Following Chris Nelson's videos I replaced both springs fairly easily (although it never seems to be quite as easy as when he does it). I did not notice as much of an improvement in my C9 trigger pull as I did with the 995 carbine. It was a minor improvement, but in my opinion, still worth the investment and effort.
Instead of cutting spring shorter like others do, mcarbo spring is slightly larger than original but compresses with half the stock trigger pull
Got spring in good time, took me about 5 minutes or less to install, I polished the feed ramp some more with fine emery cloth. Trigger pull is a lot less now. Am very pleased with it.
hi points are known for being a cheap firearm, but for some reason i have always liked them and owned at least one for most my adult life. aftermarket parts are coming to be a more common thing for hi points. take this spring kit. the C9's trigger pull is a bit much. if you have fired one then you know what i mean. after installing this spring kit its night and day. for a 13 dollar upgrade its a huge improvement. WORTH IT!! plus you get a kick a$$ window sticker for the truck with the order and best of all you're supporting vets and buying American!!!
Installation took les than 10 minutes, with most of that time spent just breaking down the pistol and reassembling it. Easy peasy drop in installation, with a noticeable improvement in trigger pull. It's not a magic pill, it's still a Hi-Point trigger with a spongy break and a looong reset, but at least it no longer takes 10 pounds of pressure before the trigger breaks.

Spring for my C9 arrived promptly and fit perfectly. The sear spring actually did provide a smoother, softer trigger. Delivery was fast. Overall the service was excellent.
